Yes.
Snobbish; aloof; rude, you name it.

Yes, that used to happen to me all the time, and quite frankly, still does. Sometimes I am just really shy, and don't feel like talking, and automatically some people think I'm being a snob. What made it worse, was when I was in high school, and I had to wear glasses, but didn't like to, so I would always be squinting my eyes without knowing it because I couldn 't see, so on top of being shy, they also thought I was giving them dirty looks! lol. Geez.

This happened to me in High School. I was extremely shy and a couple times I heard people say I was a snob for not wanting to talk with them.
There was another time I was walking to my car and a boy was looking at me and I looked away (because I was shy) and he actually said directly to me, Fine, look away snob.
I did talk to him though-I felt I had to explain why I'm not a snob and I can't help I had a nice car for my age-I worked hard for it.

In my twenties, I had a natural look, that translated like that, I had to change it by being overtly cheerful, smiling and taking the inititive to be more gorgaious with my public attitude! It really helped me in other ways, to be out going and really living inthe now. Attitude is everything, it's been true for me.

Yes all the time, guys have told me by first impression I seem unapproachable. But its like if you are friendly to quick w/guys they think their gonna get lucky. And a perfectly fine conversation turns quickly into how big your boobs are.
