ok this lad i like asked for my number i gave him my old one not knowing untill i got home do you think he will understand tomorrow when i tell him it was the old one

From a male perspective...
All you really have to realize is this, if he asked for your number all he worries about really is seeing you again. So that being said, he may be surprised to see you again thinking you gave him a bum number as a means to avoid him (which we get [or in my case used to get] all the time), but as long as you are upfront with him with an explanation as to why the number was bad he should be okay. In fact I am sure that in the future you two will laugh about how crestfallen he was that first 24 hours thinking he had been rejected.

Go up to him, and explain that you made a mistake, and gave him the wrong number. Have it written on a piece of paper, and he will know that you are trying to make amends for being a scatter brain. I forget my number, because i don't call myself.

Just be sincere and nice, and I'm sure he'll understand, but if you're daft enough to not be able to remember your own mobile number, he may just back out anyway.

for me i wouldnt call it for a couple days anyway
and even if he does call it not that big of deal. if you had given him the # to a sex hotline and somthing then he might be pissed.
so no he wont care
