I don't see nothing wrong with that. As long as both of you are on the same page and have a understanding then I don't see why it shouldn't work.

It depends on your age. Three years can be a big deal to teenager but three years is nothing to people in their 30s. That's why the old rule of thumb is to take the oldest person's age, divide by two and add seven years. The result is the age of the youngest person he's likely to have a successful relationship with. And of course, depending on the laws where you live, if she's older than 18 and you're younger, you can't have any kind of sexual contact until you turn 18, or she'd be breaking the law.

Otherwise... no it doesn't matter. Age is nothing but a number, but it's best to understand that if you are not a legal adult, its usually not a good idea to date someone that much older than you.

Typically women mature at a faster rate than men do. In my experience, I found it's best to date someone close to your age. If you date someone under 21 when you are over, it can cause a hardship in the relationship. I.e. going to shows that are 21+
