I (35 yrs old) have known this girl (34 yrs old) for over a year now. I have always been a great friend and we are both attracted to each other. We have been spending alot of time on the phone and see each other as often as possible. We have great sexual tension. She finally agreed to meet and play around which we did. She strongly believes in emotional attachment for love making so she let me do alot. She is scared to kiss me for some reason but I don't push too much. After we played around...which we did alot of...She left home. I tried to call last night and today but she wouldn't answer. I am being very sensitive to her needs, but also a little hurt because she didn't show emotions towards me. I am not a "nice guy" type all the time, and just plain old myself and a helping friend always. I sent a picture of a flower via text and left a little message for her to take her time and keep her space. What do I do now???

All throughout HS and college too I was always the "friend".. I get along exceptionally well with guys and spend most of my time as school with a group of guys. I'm not a tomboy and I'm not particularly assertive or anything. At most, I'm a little motherly and a subtle flirt.

but why am I always the "cool friend" and how can I change that perception?
How can I flirt and let someone know that i'm interetested in him w/o flat out telling him?

I know, this is kinda a stupid question, but I've found the older I get, the more attracted I am to guys who actually have something going on "up there."

In high school and even college, I used to always go for the musicians or the athletes, but now - well give me an electrical engineer any day! Brains over braun is definitely where it's at!

Maybe it's just that my relationships with "braun" always ended up in the guy either cheating or at least being a total scumbag. OK, I'm not saying all musicians are scum, and I'm sure some engineers can be cheaters too, but the track record's there. And although love is far more important than money, but that's just another thing the brainy guys got going for them.

Of course, everyone's different. I'm sure somewhere out there is a chemist/engineer/lawyer who plays in a garage band. But - OK, I'm rambling now. I just want to let you "nerdy" high school guys know that it's all right. You got game!

there's this guy in my grade and i've liked him for like 2 years. this may seem kind of stupid. but i get so nervous when i look at him or around him i cant even smile at him i just immediatly look away. i talked to him 2 years ago but now dont have the nerve even to look at him without him looking at me wierd.i really want to get to know him better but dont know how to without running off or acting wierd.is there any way i can talk to him normal.

Well right now I feel so..weird. All I can think about right now is him. He talks to me everyday, is super sweet. Nice, funny, caring. He tells me I'm beautiful.

We had been dating and in a relationship for almost 2 mo. Ever since my boyfriend and I had finally had sex a week ago, since I was a virgin, now he acts very distant, even though he claims he hasn't noticed any odd behavior from him. I had been seeing him a lot for the past 4-5 days, I thought we might need some time from eachother to breathe. He kept asking to when he can call me, I turned him down, thinking I was gonna be too busy. I gave in tonight trying to call him but he won't answer his phone as I tried calling 4 times or respond to any of my text messages. We love each other, but I worry he might love being with his friends more than with me. He doesn't show too much affection or try to romance me, even though I do and show so many sincere and loving gestures. A mutual friend of ours had just told a friend of mine that I had called my boyfriend all day, a few hours after I had already tried to call my bf. What does all this mean? On behalf of an awfuly traumatic experience some months ago...This bad experience was an "asswhole" I dated who never gave a damn about me, who took advantage of my drunkness a couple of times, who was an alcoholic, and to whom I would have devoted my entire life.
With my new date, who I deeply love, I don't feel like kissing all the time. I am not as passionate as I was before.

I have been taking this new relationship really slowly. I parted with my ex 10 months ago.. And I have already asked this guy to give me time on my own, but now I do feel like being with him!

I 'm new in 1 of those schools where all the popular people look/ dress the same, for almost a month now and I saw his guy with this cute little eyebrow piercing and I really like him for being different in small ways. Where do I start? He sit next to and behind me for two classes. I know I really should just turn around and say "Hi" before class starts but when it comes to it I feel so nervous and couldn't do it.
