I have been in one for over a year. it is not my first and my boyfriend says he has been drawn to Black women most of he life but i am the 1st he has dated. We do not dwell on the difference in color because we have soo much in common. We are both SciFi geeks and love a lot of the same things.
Sometimes when we are out together with other friends we get some suprised looks when we kiss or hold hands. Thankfully we have had no biggotry or confrontations fron disapproving folks. I would like to think in society we have grown as a people and gotton over the fear of other races. I love my man dearly and am now confident that he loves me as deeply enough that no color or creed makes a difference to him and he doesn't care if it makes a difference to anyone else

I think the correct question is if you have a problem with interracial dating for yourself or for others. If your honest answer to the above is no, then I will ask you to ignore those who do, especially those that you know.In this world we live in we have people who can only be happy by making others miserable. They are either ignorant, uneducated, lack self esteem, don't believe in God ( or they would love all his creations),and seek power. So if you happen to love someone now and they are of a different persuasion than you(not another race;there is only the human race), then by all means , go ahead and enjoy that person. You will be glad you did.

No, I'm "white" and have always dated Mexicans. My husband is Mexican. We grew up in a small small town where there are tons of rednecks that are judgemental, but guess what...they're all still there, living in trailers and being judgemental...while my hubbie and I have a four bedroom house in the burbs and we're under 25. It doesn't matter what others think, at all, only what you feel. I've never felt challenged by racists or people who think it's wrong, I look down on them for their ignorance. They may think they're above people in interracial relationships, but I never have EVER in my life thought anyone was above me. That's the mentality that keeps you going and makes you strong, regardless of the closed mindedness around us.

Personally, I've never been in a interracial relationship. I do think that's it just depends. Some people are just ignorant and will continue to be ignorant. But I think most people are cool with it now a days. you'll just have that occasional a**hole.

I'm half black and half white... I have a thing for white guys, but I have a difficult time getting them interested in me. I guess it's still difficult to have a white boy and black girl mix. Over all I think we got alot of mixin in this day and age.
