its like i cannot approach a girl well i dont know how to start a convoversation i hear im cute lookin *not to be concieted* but its like i dont know how to ask for a girls number like my friends can do it they can do it in a snap but its like i cannot do it how can i apprach a girl its like im scared i mite be told off..

Ha, no worries... I'm a girl. We LIKE to be asked for our number. Just casually drop it into the conversation... Maybe ask for like homework help or something like, "Oh, hey if I need some questions on the homework, can I call you?"

Shyness is a little like stage fright, and a bit of an over-focus on one's self. Try this. Imagine that you are a host, and it is your job to talk to this person and help her enjoy herself. This would involve saying a warm hello, with good eye contact. Then asking about herself. Listening to what she says, and asking more questions about the stuff she says. When she asks you something, give a relevant answer. Between pretending you are a warm host, toss in a little bit of ingenuous six-year-old (a cute smile), and you should be all set.

Remember think of her. When you're done talking, tell her it was a pleasure talking to her. People like to hear that.

i had your same problem. im a girl though so i really didn't ask girls. i would go somewhere where you dont know anybody. and just randomly go up to people and start a conversation. the reason i said some where you dont know anybody is because if you dont know them the chances are you wont ever see them again.and if you dont see them again dont feel bad if you get rejected. i'd say get a little practice in before you go off and just ask people for they're number. i did that and it totally worked.
