We flirted for about 8 months, I thought at the time she was seeing this other bloke in the office, who has a fiancee but she denied it and we went for a drink and a dance after the sales conference - she said I was trouble and then we went back to hers and I just slept there, nothing else. Then we didnt do anything for a couple of weeks, I asked her for a drink, she blew off another engagement to be there and we kissed and went back to hers, again we didnt sleep together. Then she goes on holiday and we text each other a lot, when she gets back she says she has really missed me and that night she texts me and comes round to my flat and we actually sleep together then.

A few more dates pass and we have a lot of fun together - she spends a weekend at mine and says it was amazing - a week later I go away for the weekend, she says she is going to miss me, after that she gets much colder and a week later says she doesnt want to do anything more because we work together and its too complicated - in the same conversation she says she has "fallen" for me. Since then we have texted a bit and she still flirts a lot with me - we went out for a drink a couple of weeks ago and I told her I was leaving work and I really liked her and I kissed her - she said she hasnt gotten on with a guy this well since her boyfriend of 7 years who she broke up with 18 months ago - she also says she doesnt want to hurt me and that she falls in love easily and in six months she will hurt me if we start seeing each other. She also said I should "stick around".

Since that night she has gone for lunch with this guy with the fiancee a lot and I have seen her out with him after work - also any vaguely sexual comments I make she ignores or rebuffs but she still flirts with me in a sexual way.

I really like her and I dont understand what is going on - she is either worried about getting hurt, or she is seeing this other guy which is not great for me but its her life, but why does she keep trying it on with me if she wants him - maybe it is an attention seeking thing but it is pretty cruel and immature of a 27 year old to be doing that. I keep trying with her because she is encouraging me to - today I am not wearing any gel and she asks if she can touch my hair!! She also asked me for lunch next week - I asked her out for another drink next week and she said yes.

What do you think - everyone, all of my firends, say I am wasting my time but I really want to keep seeing her. She says she doesnt want to hurt me but I get the feeling she is worried I will hurt her - maybe I am just being paranoid about the other guy but perhaps that is the reason. (he is a black guy, as was her ex boyfriend so clearly her type)

I went out with him once. I broke up with him. Thenwe went back out. He broke up with me. I still love him. I can't stop thinking about him. I wish he would take me back. What do you think? How many trys do you think could work? My sister said the third try might always make things better. Because it means either person could make the tie a winning cut. We still talk alot. I've known this guy about a year, and we have the weirdest hot and cold ralationship. We have amazing conversations, but beyond them we barely talk. As he walks, and if I dont start the conversation with him, he ignores me. Actually, when he approached me for the first time afew days ago, I was quite surprised. It seems like he can remember anything I've ever said to him, and that we get along wonderfully. Three friends of mine gave their opinions, that he likes me, that he likes our convos but nothing more, and that he doesnt like me at all and just doesnt want to be afraid. He seems fairly shy, and for my part I'm hoping that he likes me. Can anyone try and understand his behavior? I'm clueless when it comes to this sort of thing.

U see there's this guy and i sota like him. I've known him for a year now and i think he likes me back. But what i dont understand is that I see all the girls that he has crushes on and he's always so polite and kind to them. then after being so sweet and kind to them for a while he asks them out. But with me now that's a different story. he always sticks his foot out in front of me trying to trip me. Closes the door on my face then laughs about it. And even hit me a few times (But not hard.) but i know he likes me cuz he's always coming over my house and calling me 15 times a day. And blushes whenever he sees me. So why does he treat me so different from the rest of those girls?

We started dating in April and things got serious pretty fast, but at the time we were both ok and happy with that. About two months ago she said we needed to take a break and be single for a while. She says she still loves me and I still love her very much. But she says she just doesn't want a relationship right now. We are both starting school in October. And her mom died about two months ago. I know she is overwhelmed and still depressed about her mom. I have reason to believe we will get back together someday, but I have to idea when. What should I do? Should I wait for her? Or is it over? I love her and can't picture myself with anyone else, nor do I have any desire to date anyone else even though she says its ok if I do go on dates. I am 25 and she is 22. Any advice?

Good things about him:

- Lets you borrow $1600 for your house payment
- Later makes it a gift because you couldn't pay it
- Emotional and crazy about you
- Cares about you deeply
- Gets slightly jealous when your with other guys
- Stands up for you whenever needed
- Pays for everything when you go out together
- Cares about you so much that he cares about your daughter

Flaws:

- Tells you how he feels too much
- Brings up the money when there is a fight between you and him.
- Clingy (emails.. asks how day went etc. too much)

First and foremost, I would greatly appreciate it if you all go easy on me. My girlfriend and I moved in together approximately 3 months ago. Our relationship, in my opinion, is on the fritz. We don't fight, but it feels like we just "exist" together. I feel terrible because I feel responsible for our relationship being like this. We are both insecure. We are both not very good talkers. The worst part is that I am very attached to her 4 year old daughter. We still have 9 months left on our lease, and I don't want to make her life a living hell. I just want her to be happy, but I feel so alone in this relationship. We have sex maybe once a month. She is the most unpassionate person I have ever met. I know that she was hurt in the past, but I've given her my unabided support since the beginning of our relationship. In fact, I think I've let her take advantage of me at times. She is not seeing anyone else because we are online at work together all day. HELP

I have been with this guy for almost 5years. We hooked up when we were in Highschool so we're still young around early 20s. The question really is that I love this guy and I know he loves me... and we seem so good together but of course, there's always something wrong..

Like most guys my age, he doesnt know what he wants to do wit his life. Because of this, he is not going to school. He tries to find the best job he could find but ends up giving up because, as usual, he doesnt know what kind of job he wants. We have the same dreams of being successful and living a good life but...

For me, school/education is part of being a sucessful person but he thinks otherwise. He thinks he knows a lot already which is true. He knows more than wat I know in life.

I dont know if i should wait till he grows up and find a career that he wants to do because he may not grow up. Though, he is giving me signs that he will do watever there is to do... someday.

My boo and i have always planned on being together when were older, but lately i've really realized just how insecure he really is: he would get an additude if i were with my friends and he called and i couldnt talk, he would get irritated if i didnt pick up the phone somtimes when he calls, i wanted to go on this summer trip with my club,but he didnt want me to go, it was the last year the club was doing this,b'cuz it was gonna be shut down. he dosent trust me around guys, he gets jealous even when i have a conversation w/my guy friends, and this had been happening for about 2 and a half year maybe 3

And i just now realized how unfare it was to me i cant live my life like that, i wanna go have fun with my friends(and guys friends) b'cuz its not like i like my guy friends,i dont think he would ever change for me and i cant have someone like that for a husband, just think of when he goes of to college, i just know we'd probably have trust issues

we're not very close, my friend told me that the guy told him.
the girl is 13 and the boy is 18. it was pretty obvious it wouldnt last.
they've been going out for months (i forget how many)
