I've always felt at least a little sad afterwards but in two out of the three breakups of serious relationships i've had, i felt good about it in the long run. In both cases we get along much better now then we did when we were together and in one case we're actually closer! Good luck!

yea i was soooooooooo releived when i dumped my fiancee about an year and a half back man i felt relieved that i got rid of her coz it was difficult for me even to breath with her around
