ok there is this guy that i dont really know if I like and he asked me out today through one of my friends. A lot of girls at my school like him so i dont want it to cause a lot of drama. Also sometimes i think i like him other times i dont. Gosh i am really confused. i also dont know what he is like as a bf i dont want him to be like ALL over me in school. Because my family is friends with the principal and he would find out and i would get in trouble. i honestly dont know.. ah can you please please help me!!! thanks so much

If you're not allowed to date yet, then no, you shouldn't. If you only like him because other people do, no, you shouldn't. If you really like him, but are afraid other people will be jealous, then yes, you should. You are putting too much thought into this. If you like him, give it a try. If you find after a date, that he's not what you though he was, you can decline a second date. No harm done.
P.S.- Why are you worried about what he'll be like as a boyfriend or whether he'll be "all over you" if you haven't even had one date? That's why we go on dates- to find out whether we want to pursue a relationship. You don't have to be boyfriend and girlfriend with every boy you date. Slow down.

My friend had a similar situation, on the first day of school this kid asked her out. She said that she wouldn't because she didn't know him that well. She also said that she may say yes if she knows him. Threw about 3 weeks he would gradually come up and talk to her and after that my frined said yes and now they are bf gf so i think you should just tell him that you want to get to know him better! It worked for her!

My suggestion is to tell him you want to get to know him as friends only right now. Later, down the road, if you both like each other as you get to know each other and when it is appropriate, you can date. If You are not allowed to date, then tell him friends first. That is the best way anyway. Be honest and communicate. I was friends with my boyfriend for 2 years before we decided to date. It is so much better that way.

ok u can tell him ...ok i accept that but
1: we will say as friends for 3 weeks if we decided that we like each other we will go farther
2: let's be professional in school i don't want to flirt around u when we are in the school

Dating, especially when you're still in school, is supposed to be about having fun. If just the thought of dating this guy is stirring up all of these anxieties, you might think twice about why you're considering dating him. If it's not fun, it's not worth your time.

If all the girls you go to school with like him, you should take it and run with it. out of all the girls he asked you out. Yeh you dont know what hes like, you dont know what anyones like before you date them. Just go for it, whats the worse that could happen, you dont like him. Thats about it. Take advantage of it and see what happens. you may end up liking him,

you should hangout with him out side of school and see what he's like and then you could then eaither decide to give it a shot or not., but then if it dosen't work out you could always brek up with him! and you shouldn't really care what the other girls think as long as your happy!

Your still young if you go outwith him and you find out he isn't what you wanted you can break up with him. That's the only way to really know if you like him or don't.

I think you should. Interview him. It might be fun.It might be your only chance.It could turn out being different too though.But always take chances.And you can lean by your mistakes and never take my advice again. But still, I think you should.
