Singles & Dating - 11 August 2007

my boyfriend has been my best friend for 10 years, weve been dating for like 2ish months and i have to break up with him. im 16 and hes 18. i am a competitive figure skater and that is all i do lol. i recently broke my foot and i am still on a break from skating for 2 weeks. my coach is making me break up with him because he is a "distraction" he tries to work with my scheudual but i really only get to see him for like an hour on sundays and like 10 mins a day durring the school year. its really not fair to him but he says he loves me and hes happy with the time he does get to see me. he even watches me at practice but my coach says that he cant and i talked to him and hes said "its skating or me" i train from 4-7, do to school 7:30 till 12(i get to leave early so i can train, on the ice 12:30 - 5, then the gym 5-7 and back on the ice 7-9. so i train 11 and a 1/2 hours 6 days a week and on sundays i train a half day. how do i break up with him and not hurt him?

my ex broke up with me this week.and well i have been avoiding him since then phone calls and such. just kinda hard to deal with it,i really did care about him. not sure love yet but i cared almost to that point.but we talked now and he said he had to clear his mind he was unsure about somethings which i dont mind really i rather him tell me then drag me along.but hes always said he cares for me. and wants to work things out. but im not sure if i should go back im scared of him leaving me again. i dont know if i should let him in so soon again.

Me and my friend were walking to the bus bays at school and he walked past and saw us. As he walked past, my friend saw him and tried to pull me away, and he said hi to me in a really nice way and he was a bit flirty with me. He totally ignored my friend but she wasn't bothered. Sometimes when I see him around he is a bit flirty with me and looks at me like, u know!!

This guy and I have know each other for almost 10 years. I was 19 he was 31 and a family friend, so dating him was a NO. However, during that time he gave me signs - I think. He came to my defence when in a group of people I was getting teased he stood up and told them all to #$%*#( off and leave me alone - my knight! lol..I would catch him looking at me and then he'd look away..then many times he would go out of his way to come and say hi, he would remember things I said in detail weeks before and was just basically very nice to me. I totally didn't see this and continued to date for years -I'm told he hasn't dated much and wasn't happy when he would see me with someone else- Now I'm almost 30 and still find him sweet/attractive and he's single and I'm not "a kid" anymore and it wouldn't be so wrong....so do I make a move?

I have a wonderful boyfriend who makes me laugh and i love him loads!
But there are these two other guys who I have been seeing behind he back, not becuase I hate him but for....money.
Im not a whore or nothing and they both have girlfriends it just that meeting up with them and havin sex, turns me on so much, and I get paid, really good, money. The buy me saucy outfits to were and play around in. I like the sneaking around part of it.
We meet up in hotel rooms, or were ever the back of cars and have sex like crazy. Screaming and moaning becuase its sooo good. I get loadsa money for it £200 a time.
But I need to stop! and I dont know how, my boyfriend doesnt know, but both of the guys have threatened to tell him if I stop seeing them, and I dont want to loose him.

In all seriousness, I believe I am so badly broken I will never be capable of an adult relationship which could involve sex, dating, and marriage. My anxiety has a life of its own and whenever I try to interact -- it goes off the scale. I have had panic attacks. To talk to women at work is doubly problematic, not only do I have to worry about rejection itself but also being charged with sexual harassment as the penultimate form of rejection.

Me and my girlfriend are both 16 and have been going out for just over 3 months now.

I really like her and im quite sure that she feels the same way.

The only thing is that shes quite shy meeting new people and stuff like that, but once shes got to know you a bit, shes all good. Her being bit shy is not a problem at all.

The thing is that because of it she doesn't like to call my house because she doesnt want to have to speak to my sister or parents becuase she says it would be embarrassing.

She also doesnt want to come to my house i assume because she would feel a bit shy meeting my parents and the like.

Its been three months already :|

What can I do or say that will make her see that all will be good if she just trys it. Ive tried telling her before that theres no reason any of my family wouldnt like her and that theres nothing not to like, as i think this is another worry of hers.

What can I do to at least make her try it so she can see that theres nothing wrong?

So I asked a question wondering if other girls started to think about what kind of a husband, provider, father etc... a guy would be when you really start to get interested in him.

NOw I want to know if guys do the same thing. Do you think about your future with her? Consider what kind of a mother, wife, provider etc...she would be?
