Guys always call me "cute", "pretty", and "beautiful".
but they never call me hott. What does that mean? Which is better?

cute, pretty and beautiful means they like the way you look..they think you're pretty....hott means they want to have sex with you.....depending on the moment, time, place and situation. i bet it will go back and forth between the two

Ok here is the scoop from your friendly resident old man.
If you call a girl beautiful its the best compliment you can get from a man, but sometimes means he believes you are unapproachable and he doesn't have a shot (if he's not involved with you). If this is the case, and you WANT him, then make some kind of physical gesture to assure him he DOES have a shot (hand on knee, smile, hair flip, big smile and a "thank you, you're so sweet!").
If you call a girl cute, it usually means he finds you attractive and is interested, but is also used in groups of peers to show that he's not fully committed to liking you ex., " yea, shes' cute", if the guys agree, he's off the hook, if they pass judgment, it's not like he called you beautiful and got his hopes shot down by a group of pimple faced wankers.
Pretty is reserved for people you DONT WANT TO ROLL IN THE HAY WITH. Your sister is pretty, your teacher, your friends' mom (that is, unless she is HOTTT, see below**).
**If you call a girl HOTT, it usually means you have an erection, and or sexual arousal by the sight of the girl in question, ex., after taking numerous semi naked photos of you, you and your male friend look at the pictures and he proclaims, "oh my god (your name here) you are so fing HOTT". Hot is reserved for semi naked or scantily clad women, the male namer of said 'hot' girl will want to have sexual intercourse with you, so pack a toothbrush.

Depends on what you want to be; a beautiful cherished woman, the cute approachable girl with standards, pretty lil sister, or the girl bent over the car with the suds flying in a bikini in slow motion...

Beautiful is the best one. Cute and pretty are good too. Being called hott isn't exactly sweet.. It's just saying he wants to um, have sex with you. Hot is a sexual term, while the three you mentioned are based on your appearance and beauty. A nice guy would say your beautiful, a loser guy would say "your hot." Women are known for analyzing words too much, like you are right now with these 4 different words, but that's how we should be. Each of those has a different meaning.
Cute- is like a "cutesy" act, like paris hilton, she's known for being "cutesy" like when she walked out of jail looking shy and sweet, that's cute... Or cute is like a lil baby saying funny things, thats cute...
Pretty means you have a nice appearance, and its appealing
Beautiful speaks for itself. He's referring to your beauty.
"Hott"- pretty much means "you look like a girl I'd want to have sex with". Hott isn't just a sexual term, its also having to do with stereotypes, like Jolie's big lips, Whitey Houston's legs, Pamela Anderson's chest.. it's not flattering really.

Cute is better than hot since cute is more subtle.
To me 'hot' is more of objectifying the person. A girl that dresses in more revealing clothes will be called 'hot' more than 'cute.' The girl that keeps you wondering is cute or beautiful.
Stay with cute/beautiful over hot. They're better compliments. But don't forget 'smart' or 'funny' those are also very important things to be called.

I say gorgeuos and beautiful or the best. Hott is more on a sexual. Boys that call u hott just want to get into your pants. If they call u beautiful or goreuos they want u for more.

Hot is better. Cute, Pretty and beautiful are like little sister compliments. Try to get a new look, maybe, changing your hair and use highlights. Use makeup, but not too much...but change the style or colors of the makeup you use.

men and women do have different meaning of things but in anycase when a man says you are cute it means you are the 'getting serious'/ 'setttle- down'/ family like lady, they respect the image and personality you put out there.
as for hot, it may if not most of the time relate to 'sex', usually a hot person is sexy, they ozz the 's' word without even trying too hard. when they look at you first thing is 'how that cliv' or 'that behind be fuller and hottly curved than the map of Africa!, in all fact, rather have everyone saying and knowing as cuteand only your man calling you 'HOT'.

I think being called "hott" is better. Hott means that they'd just jump in the sack and ride you right away. "Cute", "pretty" and "beautiful" are words your mom uses. Change it up, start dressing like a skank and maybe they'll start calling you a hottie.

Cute, pretty, beautiful nicer and shows more respect for you as a woman
Which is better is up to you if you want to classed as easy/cheap or are respected for being a great girl
