Singles & Dating - 24 April 2007

I have been with my boyfriend for 4 months and I care about him very much. He has been under a lot of stress from work and has been out of town a lot for the past month or so.

Everything was great...until about a week ago. He was out of town and really stressed out. We didn't really talk much last week and since he has been home he seems kind of distant.

We haven't had any fights or anything...everything was fine...so I thought. I think it might just be work...but this is the first time he has ever acted like this.

I want to talk to him about it...but I don't know what to say. I don't want to seem pushy or anything. I just need to know that it is not something between us that is the problem.

Any Advise??

so i went out with this guy a long time ago and we kept in touch and we were very sexual i guess you can say when we werent going out. i thouhgt it was somethign special you know? and like after i gave it up to him we didnt really talk that much after that..and before it happened i gave him one of my hoodies and it was brand new. and he still wears it to this day. and we hiung out last weekend and we kissed every here and there.. and i mean it was good cuz now i know that i am over him.. i mean i still care aboiut him and sh!t. In school all these people will tell him when im standing there...theyll tlel him that they saw him with this girl adn with that girll...and he said im single i can do whatever i want.. i think he said that because i wwas standing there. But what i need to know is if he is holding on or what is happeneing?!!!!!!

I have 2 dates for prom and I didn't mean for this to happen. I get really nervous and shy around guys. So this certain guy didn't know this bit of information and decided to ask me to prom in front of friends in a crowded hallway. I didn't really tell him yes, I told him I'd call him. But I think I should call it off in person. What should I say to him that would tactfully call off the date? I know that it takes a lot of courage for guys to ask girls out, so what should I tell him???

Ther is this girl i know thats not so hot she is like a "7" at best, but she has an amazing *** that i love plowing.I have no feelings for her whatssoever.The only feelings i have twards her are sexual and at extreme!!! levels!!!!(i get hot thinking about her). Well, I don't know if its love or lust all I know is I think about him everyday. We used to be friends but I ended the friendship because he wanted me to do things I wasn't comfortable with. We met when my husband and I were separated but now we're back together. I don't think my husband really loves me, we never have sex or very infrequently. We tried counseling but he wasn't committed to it. I want my friend back but I'm sure he has moved on. He doesn't want a relationship with me anyway, just sex. Its hard to explain. Around boys, im very quiet, and never know what to say. I can never make eye contact like a normal person does when they talk to someone, because i am so nervous. Im worried that boys think that i am stuck up and mean because of this rather than just super super nervous. I try to be as nice as possible and talk, but its just so hard. I was just wondering whether it was possible for someone to change. A friend of mine has a girlfriend who he has been seeing for a while (about 6 months) and has cheated on every boyfriend she has had. So far she has cheated on him a couple of times and each time she has apologised and said it won't happen again, but it has happened again a few week later. She has a lot of contact with ex-bfs and he says he trusts her 100%, the problem is that he doesn't trust who she is with - does anyone have any suggestions on what he should do?

I am a parent of 3 children. My youngest daughter is starting college next year. My other two children are in college already. My youngest daughter had a lot of troubles in school she didn't have that many friend's, struggled to fit in, and was begging us to move constantly. She suffered through depression but was able to overcome it through her boyfriend and others.

Now it's time for her to go to college and start her life "new" as she calls it. She came up to me yesterday and said "mom I want to throw everything I own out" I said "what?!!" She said "all my clothes mom" "I want all new things!" I was a bit shocked and taken back by this. My daughter has been saving " some " money I'd say about $100.00 she has saved up at the moment. She spends more then she saves I can tell you that much!

I don't think my husband and I can afford "everything new" in her whole wardrobe! It would cost us to much money! We are worried more about her "college" and her "dorm stuff" and computer!

Whenever my ex and I used to kiss and makeout and the t.v. was on, he was always watching t.v. out of the corner of his eye. And laughing mid-kiss if they said something funny on t.v while were kissing. He paid more attention to the t.v. than me. This always really bothered me and upset me. hey there peeps!
well here goes: - i have decided to take part in a play which is at a boys skool. the three times that i have been, i have noticed or caught this same boy staring at me..the thing is that he does not look away but i do, when i look up he is there..and ii look away. In fact i dont think i have personally looked directly at him...as i am too scared 2bh.
NEWAYS..i also did took part in play, a good while back, when i was in Yr7. i think i liked him a bit then AND when it was one of the last performances i heard him + one of his friends outside the closed door. His FrIend said 'why dont you ask her out, she's straitened her hair' (LOL). at least im pretty certain i heard this. (ITS NOW 5 YRS LATER by the way!!)
UPDATE TO PRESENT...(from this FIRST paragraph, what does this staring mean guys?) IS IT JUST RECOGNITION OR DOES HE like ME IN ANY WAY??I do hope that he does BUT we hav like never talked. i think he's a bit of a player..but then again i dont reely know himHELP
