You can take them out to dinner and a movie. ( pay for everything.) Give them a card and kiss goodnight. You don't have to make it too expensive. A nice restaurant and some laughs will do. If they like a certain artist by them a cd too. Hope this helped

If you want to. It shows that you remember the birthday. I wouldn't get anything super fancy or expensive. Maybe a card and go out for ice cream or something more neutral. You don't know too much about each other after 2 weeks, so it's more the thought that counts and not a gift. Definitely a card for sure, and maybe a small token to show you thought about it.

A card should do. I wouldn't do more than that because it can be seen as trying to hard -sadly. And you don't want to give the impression that you are willing to pay for his affections. I made that mistake once and the guy had his hand out time and again as things progressed until I realized what he was doing and dumped him. Maybe I'm too cynical, but still, just get a card and maybe a cute teddy bear and that's that.

*You don't need to go all out for a birthday gift, especially if you have not known the person for very long.
.A simple "Happy Birthday" and a card w/ some candy or something small...will do just fine and suites the occasion.
~When I hardly know people I do not expect anything from them, and this person should not either.
*So your best bet is to keep it simple-small and inexpensive.

If you really want to, but I would suggest something nominal like a CD or book or something. If you're not sure where you are in the relationship, give him/her a card and take them out for a drink.

You should at least acknowledge it.
If you don't want to give a gift, give them a card.
Nothing makes a person feel cared about better than Hallmark.

If you feel the need to get them a gift then make it something small and useful. (ie: gift card for a coffee shop).

Take him to lunch, or maybe to a theme park or the movies. Depends what you two like to do. Get a card.
