I have been with my boyfriend for 4 months and I care about him very much. He has been under a lot of stress from work and has been out of town a lot for the past month or so.

Everything was great...until about a week ago. He was out of town and really stressed out. We didn't really talk much last week and since he has been home he seems kind of distant.

We haven't had any fights or anything...everything was fine...so I thought. I think it might just be work...but this is the first time he has ever acted like this.

I want to talk to him about it...but I don't know what to say. I don't want to seem pushy or anything. I just need to know that it is not something between us that is the problem.

Any Advise??

Give him some time to get over his "stress" from his trip. You have only been together for 4 months, you can't expect a whole lot from such a short relationship so far. When dealing with men, be patient, they don't think like us women nor do they handle stress very well. Give hime some space and wait for the right time to talk to him, he will come around when he is ready.

Yes...leave him alone.

Women can be so dense at times. Men don't think like women do, we don't need to talk to make ourselves feel better. Fact is you want to talk to him to make yourself feel better, not him. You are very likely to do more harm than good.

Leave him be, he will snap out of it soon enough.

Book a time at a cafe for dinner that is good for him so that he can't bail on you and then express how you feel and then go from there
