My boyfriend really dosent open up to me the way i do with him.... i mean its not like i tell him every thing that goes on in my head.... is he just afraid that if he will he will lose me or is afraid of being hurt, hes a really great guy.... i dont know how to show him im not like any of the other girls he has been with..... hes been like this out whole relationship and we have been together for a year.

Guys tend not to open up a lot that's just how they are. The only way you can show him that you will always be there for him is by always being there for him never lie and the only way you can get him to trust you is by trusting him first. WHen you ask him to open up if you put too much pressure on him he's more likely to shut down than open up, you have to be gentle like you would be with a child that has been abused and coax things out of him very very slowly.

Well I thought from a guys point of view i would give my opinion because many of the ladies said the same thing "hes a guy he speaks with actions not words. All guys arent afraid to open up. If i was with the woman that i love i would want her to feel what love is all about besides the physical connection. When you have a relationship that you value just express to him that you dont need to know everything but you do value his feelings and want to know what is goals and dreams are. gl

I know what you are going through. I have learned that guys just don't see the need to express their emotions through talking like girls do. They tend to show us how much they love us or need us through actions of what they do. Most don't like to open up as much (a pride thing) so when they do appreciate the trust they have in you. Some are more open then others but every person is different. Maybe talk to him about it but don't expect him to change.

Honey, men do not open up and talk like women do.
Ive been married for over 20 years and my husband and I do not sit down and talk like me and the girls talk.
Don't get me wrong, we talk but men do not go into detail unless they are leading the conversation. Stop making such a big deal out of it. If it bothers you that much then you should consider if dating him is what you want...

well let me tell u, ive been with my bf for 5 years and im going through the same thing, i think u need to get out as fast as possible or just learn to deal with it. Some guys just dont change. look at me 5 years and he is the same way.

thats just how guys are, they dont like opening up. if something is really bothering him he will. just be there to listen.

talk to him about it. ask him why he wont tal to u much about ur feelings. show him how u feel, open up to him more, and ask him how he feels sometimes. make a effort!
