so i was set up with this guy two years ago and we went out a few times but he told me over the phone that he couldnt be there for me the way he wanted to and he stoped talking to me after that. and after two years he has started to talk to me again. he and i saw each other twice and i thought we were just going out as friends and the first night we hung out he kissed me on the cheek. the second time we hung out he was trying to kiss me in the movies a few times. and then he started to hug me and everrything. later that night he started to kiss me on the neck. each time i told him to stop and i asked him why he is so interest all of a sudden and he said he was lonly. i honesty think he is trying to get some but i donktnow he hasnt been wiht any other gurl i was his first gurl in his life and well as mine. he doesnt even call me when he wants to go out he just im's me on aim. i know that he isnt committed this time either but i want to know what u think? should i give him another chance

Do you believe in dating? I think it's kind of a social mechanism to power the movie, dinner, candy etc. industries. Isn't it really all about finding that special someone, who you can click in with and just enjoy their company right away, instead of having to "test each other out" on dates? I mean think about it. It's rules, it's roles... Wouldn't you much rather just explore this other person, and get to know them in a sincere way, instead of following some kind of script? Just a thought...

I'm 13 and I have a 16 year old brother who has had one girlfriend when he was 13. The thing is my mom never knew about rheir relationship so she won't let me have one and there is this girl I really like. Also like the girls mom is fine with the Idea but my mom isn't okay with it and if I tell her about my older brothers last relationship he'll hate me forever. What should I do???

I really like this girl at school.And she found out I liked her.She said to her best friend that I was cute and would like to get to know me more.We became friends.Now fast forward a month later...I basically wrote her a letter professing my feelings for her and asked her out.She told me the letter was really sweet...but her dad doesn't allow her to date.What bothers me is if she's using this as a underlying excuse for some other issue because quite frankly she hasn't told me her feelings for me(if she has any at this point).I haven't confronted her about this issue should I?What bothers me is I have to ask my friend to ask her how she feels...and what does she say now?"I don't really know"(referring to if she liked me).She's a sweet girl...but this is freaking annoying and frustrating. Couple of notes: -Her parents don't allow her to date until College(although she's made it clear that she won't follow through with it) -She's a super busy student -We've been friends for about a month.

I'm a straight guy, turning 16 in less than a month and my question is, is it weird for not wanting a girlfriend? I get complimented on my looks a lot of times by some girls, and I'm friends with a good share of them, some hot, some....not so much. It's not like I don't try asking girls out, but I end up developing a crush so strong for them, ending up asking them out, and they kind of leave me hanging, either being friends, or whatever. So I don't bother, or else one more denial would kind of crush my spirit.

Sure, there's hot girls I'd like to go out with, but they're not in my group of friends, and they're usually party girls, and I'm a straight-edge type of guy.

At this point, I'm somewhat sick of girls, especially all of them in my classes, who complain about the littlest things, saying random things they assume we care about. (For example, we're taking a test, and out of nowhere, this girl blurts out, "Omg, I just made this really stupid mistake." I can't help but think STFU.

I've asked a lot of questions about this one guy over and over and over. Each time a new problem comes up that im feeling worried about. This time it is worse. This hit me hard and i've had problems.
I like this guy named Frankie but Frankie doesnt like me he says [i dont have the right personality, im not attractive by his standards, not smart enough, and too young] heres the problem he likes a girl named Mickey. My cousin and friend. She is my age, she gets worse grades than me, and Frankie and i seem to 'click' more than thy do.
Worse part is she likes him too. She has a history of dating guys that are my firends and dumping them. After she dumps them she expects me not to talk to them, which i wont do.
Now frankie came over yesterday and mickey and him arent going out yet. We were sitting on the couch and before i knew it we kissed. Kind of jooking around and such it happened a few more times that night.

This is the situation the best friend is always there to listen.
Including eveything about the girl's boyfriends. Can she end up falling in love with him? Ok he is great, but passionate love was experienced with someone else, love thoughts, tears, disappointments, etc. and the best friend was there to witness everytning. Why does he fall in love with the girl?
and If they end up having an affair can she forget her past love? Can they be really happy? Can he actually forget that one of the girl's past boyfriends and biggest love of all was also his best friend?

Well, there's this girl... and... I love her.

We got to know each other last March, and in May she was already my girlfriend. But, after four months, her mother found out about our relationship and forced us to break up.

What to do.

But, my love for her was still strong, too bad she didn't felt the same. She goes around chasing some other guy, but yet I still try. I tried to do some stuff, who knows, maybe I could be better than the rest.

Tried to play the guitar till my fingers bled, wrote pages and pages of poems, travel hundreds of miles just for her.

But now.....I think I should face the fact that, she loves him more than me. Well, she doesn't love me now anyway. So I guess it's time I should just give up......


Well, I tried to still be friends with her, but it hurts me so much when I see her going around with some other guy, and me being ever the optimist my mind always seem to stray about plans on how to get her back.

Our relationship was great & the timing right. Now I’m resenting him for not doing it. I don’t want to pressure him by talking about it or blackmail him by breaking up. I’m pulling away, though, because I’m hurt & afraid I’ll take it out on him. He gave me a promise ring (sweet, but we’re in our 30’s…) but I only got a silly promise (e.g. “I promise I’ll always tickle you”). Nice, but I was hoping for a more serious one after (e.g. “Seriously, though, I promise when I get some things in order, I’ll give you a diff. kind of ring”). He also told me his ex is getting wed & he didn’t want to propose because it may seem like he’s competing. That's upset me so much that if he proposes, I’d want to get back at him by saying “it's a bad time for my ex because he still loves me & would be crushed”. I wouldn’t really say that, but that HE mentioned his ex & one of the most romantic events in our relationship in the same breathe…well, it’s basically ruined the “romantic” part for me. Suggestions?

There was this photographer at this wedding I went to. He had the awesomest camera and tripod that hooked up to a multimedia screen showing everything that was going on. I was in awe by his equipment so I kept on staring at it. (Ima techie geek). My dad also gave me his digi camera which was like a toy compared to the photographer's and I was shooting like a million pictures next to this guy of the groom and bride coming in. Towards the end of the night, the photographer comes up right in front of my face and starts to film me. I was like not related to the bride and groom and I neither was a close friend (i was dragged to the wedding by parents) and he says something but the music in the bkground was so loud. I make a confused look and then he leans in closer to tell me something like "you're not over there (points to the dancefloor full of elderly people trying to disco)so I decided to film you here." Was he trying to include everybody or did he really find me worth filming?

My boyfriend and i go to the same college and we live together. I know for a fact that he showers everyday. Trust me i know!!! We always do our laundry together, and i know he wears clean clothes everyday. He feet stinks like a rotten egg and his shoe stinks. His body smells after couple hours after the shower even though he uses cologne. No he has seen the doctor, and there is nothing wrong medically. Why does his body smell and what can he do to make it stop.

Please help me because we both love each other and i want to get married to this guys. He is the best boyfriend in the world. He is the nicest person you will always meet and he always help everyone.

Please help me. Any suggestions?

i like a girl, she knows i like her and we have made plans to hang out 5 times this past week, and she always has to cancel because something comes up, or because we only had time to hang out for like an hour or so. she usually calls me once a day, and she sometimes says cute things to me like sweet dreams. but im not sure that she is into me because she has a lot of other things she puts before me, and our growing relationship. i usually talk to her a couple times a week when we shoot hoops at school. how should i act in front of her to make her like me more, and put me higher on her list of priorities. should i try to make more plans with her when we talk, or should i just make her laugh and tell her jokes, and make her make the next move. she is also a really nice person so what would be the signs of her just being nice to me, rather than being interested in being my gf. she always says she is sorry and seems sincere when she has to cancel, but how many times before i give up??????

i was together with this guy and things were great and like randomly he broke up with me, but whatever. so it was my birthday this week and friday night i was out with my friends and i see him at the place im at with another girl, and he knows it would get me upset but he didnt care. and then saturday i had a small get together with a couple friends and i invited him as well and i wanted to teach him how to dance and he started bitching at me bc i wanted to dance with him, and we're giong to prom together next week and he said hed only dance with me for 1 song. and all of my friends say i should just forget about him and that i dont deserve to be treated the way hes been treating me, so i dont know what to do.

My boyfriend and I have been together since November and things seem to be going so perfect he is such a wonderful man in many ways and I can't see myself without him. We argue a lot about stupid things really and he thinks that we are two different people and I think that we are just having a tough time being apart since its been since February the last time I saw him. Him and I really are a lot alike. Do you think that it is the distance the reason we argue a lot. What should we do to make this work. It's so worth it in more ways than one! Please help
