You were 'talking" to a guy...you haven't had the chance to see each other for a few days. He sent you a text that said, "Hey, just wanted to say goodnight. Good luck on your exam tomorrow and let me know how it goes. Hopefully I can see you sometime this week :o)"

We have seen each other a couple of times socially, stayed the night together once (no sex, just a nice night together), talked on the phone and texted a lot.

Would a text like that be too much? Like saying I hope I can see you sometime this week. I know people can get a little freaked out if they think someone is moving too quick.

I am going to ask her out on a more formal date, sometime this week.

I keep finding myself chasing after guys...and then once I get them...I'm no longer interested. I've tried over and over...to stay interested..and keep liking them once the chase is over. But I can't. Does this happen to anyone else?? I would think it's normal....but it's happened with every single I've liked.....and thats alot of guys. How do I stop being like this?? well. My bf is very attached and i'm attached to him as well. I just know i'm defenately not ready to settle down yet! i see so many attractive men who have great personalities and i can't help but feel attracted to them .. (i do think my bf is attractive too and i do love him so i'd never cheat on him)

Is it normal after awhile to be afraid of commitment? i don't know if i'm ready to settle down, i'm only 19 and he's talking about marriage and kids... i do want to be with him, he is special to me but i hate finding someone who feels like "the one" at such a young age. Now don't get me wrong, i DO love him a lot. I'm not unhappy but i can't get rid of these feelings...

Among other things, I'm looking for a man who:

- Believes in honesty, hard work, and keeping one's word as being vitally important in and of themselves.

- Drinks very little or not at all.

- Believes in waiting for sex until after marriage.

I'm a spiritual person, but I don't believe in a specific sect, and I have a hard time with churches who claim to have exclusive possession of "the real truth". Therefore, I don't attend church, and I'm not tied to finding someone of any specific religion.

My question is - where can I find a man who shares my general value system? I'm twenty-four years old, and it's proving incredibly difficult to find potential relationships. Most men today (and women, for that matter) simply have a drastically different set of ethics than I do.

I'm open to all suggestions: specific websites, specific locations, general types of locations, churches I might not have considered . . . anything.

I live in New York City.

New York, I've watched every show you produced, even the renunion to see how men are so quick to get pubilcity. How lazy. Im a Gay Black male, well put together and when I saw your reunion I saw how much they were feeding off of "You". That hurts because it shows what people are all about. Girl its a dog eat dog world, and trust as fine as you look you dont need a busted fella telling you they love yo when there milking off of your successes. Your Beautiful no matter what they say. My guard is highly up just like yours. Go for your first instinct trust me you will be happy.

the guy i like, knows i like him, and used to like me too, which i only recently found out, but denies having feelings for me now (because i did not know he liked me, and made the mistake of dating his best friend). and i know even though he denies it, he still likes me too (he often gives me plenty of signs that he is into me). we have been through this for about a year now. his friend and i have ended it and he knows that i have no intention of dating him again.

he told me he has always been shy and has trouble with relationships. and it seems like frequently he tries to avoid me because of reasons i dont know.

why does he avoid me and act so nervous?

alright so i'm in highschool and most of the guys there are jerks.
there is this one guy however who is completly different, he's smart, funny, adorable, & nice but he's really shy.
not in the sense where he doesn't talk, which we do everyday, but like when it comes to girls.


unlike most guys he isn't full of himself and doesn't like to show off but i think he's really scared of girls. i tried to give him a hug once and he kinda just did like a reach tap thing. He and i laugh togther alot and like alot of the same things but he seems really i don't know skiddish i guess.He's like this around all my friends (who all kinda like him too)

and i was wondering what's up with this guy and why he might be so shy.
i don't think he is gay, he's just really shy or maybe not even interested? help me figure this out please.

Ok my friends bfs father beat the crap out of him yesterday and his emotions are all over the place and hes was too scared to go ro sleep. So today she chose to go to her riding show when she knew he needed her for emotional support but she went and didnt come home till an hour ago and got mad cuz her ex best friend (shes also his ex gf) called her and told her what a selfish cow she is for doing that. And they got into it and the ex bff told her that she will take care of him and for to just stay away if shes going to just make it all about herself. So she called her bf and started witching at him and the poor guy is black and blue from head to toe with finger marks around his neack from where his dad choked him but she didnt care she just started playing th victim and cussing him out. What is her promblem? What should he do?

So there is this guy in my school and he is really really really hott x infinity + 1! He used to think im a freak cuz he used to always catch me at the wrong times. My boyfriend has a step-sister that likes him. She told me that he told one of his friends (a girl who he doesn't like) that he did not think that our relationship would last long. I meet and feel in love with guy 10 yrs ago, we broke up, but I had no idea he was seeing someone else. We ended up meeting one night to "reflame a relationship" and I got pregnate. He never told me of the girlfriend until I had the baby & they broke up.He has never seen the child or given support. Since my child has been born I have had support only from MY family. A month ago we started talking, he says he wants to do DNA. (that was a month ago 7yrs from birth) But since then we have talked in some form every night. I find myself falling back in love with him because he has sorta changed, BUT MY FAMILY WOULD NOT HAVE US IN THE FAMILY ANYMORE AND NOT LET ME BACK IN IF WE BROKE UP. BUT I truely do not feel they would do it becuase of the grandchild but I still do not know how to react to my feelings or belive what he says. I want to be married forever, not because of a kid. I want to be the best to me boyfriend but just dunno how. I am a conservative type and i am not comfortable when we are in public.
