Singles & Dating - 20 March 2007

I have gone to the beach and have only been out there for a few days at a time and i have gotten pretty dark over that time period. I am now going to the tanning bed and i am not too bad but i have only gone only once. i personally have gotten darker in the sun but i want to know what has worked for different people.

well i'll start from the beginning. abt nevember time this girl came to work in the area i was working in. she didn't look very attractive or pretty and she looked at me, maybe coz i'm tall and she is short, and i was thinking how ugly is this girl and who in the world would want to marry her.( i know its not nice to call or think any girl is ugly, since every girl in the world is beautiful in their own way ) Anyway so i didn't see her for a while and then again in december she came to work in my area, coz of the xmas rush. Then as i saw her again, i just thought to myself is this the same girl who came to work in my area in nov. For some strange reason i felt as if i liked her. So now at this very moment i have so many feelings for her and i think i am in love with her. I think she may like me to, since we both stare at each other sometimes. But why did i start having feeling for her ?

What happens if the reason that he fell out of love with you because you weren't yourself or the person he did fall in love with in the first place. I wasn't myself for the last year (we were living together this year) of a 3 year relationship because of me being scared of losing him. I did extreme measures to make him happy, like being available to him all the time, letting him do what he wants avoiding any serious conflict (basicly losing my independence and identity). The reason why i did this was because he had committment issues in the past with me which made me think that if did everything to make him happy i won't lose him, but then he dumps me teliing me that he wasn't happy in the last couple of months and doesn't feel the same way by doesn't know why. I still love him and I regret in what I have done (in my case in losing myself first and then second, losing him)

look guys, i work with this girl. I’m fallen for this girl b/c she showed me she liked me (clumsy around me, STEALING GLANCES at me. the whole EYE CONTACT GAME*) we started talking, became friends. I ask her out, didn't work,(bad timing, misunderstanding. No number. So she gives me her number) she seemed like she still wanted to hang out. So i asked again, then she says, I’m busy now. so i said u got my number, let me now.
But her attitude is different now. and she only want s to talk about work related things, nothing flirtish* or personal.

What did I do wrong? What can I do now?
Why did she make me fall for her if she didn't want to go out?

MAYBE SHE WANNTED TO ONLY BE FRENIDS WITH ME, AND I MISSUNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING?

Ok well the owner of my job has a son and the son works there.. anyways one day out of the blue he sends me an email saying .. i would like to get to know you better would you like to go out on a date .. now we went out on a date to have a couple of drinks ( that was on a thursday around 5 pm) then i told him i was going to go home and change then ill call him to see where can we go to hang out for a bit .. i left my house i started heading to his .. i called him and he told me he was going to talk to his friend then he was going to call me back .. he never called me back the next day at work he told me his phone had died.. so that same day he told me to call him so that we could chill .. so i called him later and he didnt pick up .. the whole weeken he didnt pick up .. sunday night around 8:00 pm he text me say heyy! i didnt replay until 12:00 midnight.. but then he didnt reply at all .. monday comes and i text him hey and he doesnt reply .. now today tuesday .. he asked me to clock

He's my classmate and i like him since the 1st time we met (about 3months ago), we're both foreigner here, he's european and I'm asian. and since the 1st time we've been good friend. every month he always fly back to his country for several days to visit his dad who is very ill. and he always ask my help to get the paper from the course for him (we're in language course). But this time is a bit weird cos he dont even told me, so surprised me when last week suddenly he told my teacher that he can't come to the class cos must fly back to greece. O God, i miss him so much, n he should be come today, but why this time he doesn't show up? People, should i send text today, asking how r u, etc...or should wait till tomorrow?i dont want look obviously that i like him, thats why is it ok if i send him a sms, asking if everything allright with him?

My boyfriend of 18 months and I had a massive fight last night.He claims I always put him last and make him feel bad about himself and I couldn't agree less.Examples:
He was sick with the flu for 3 weeks and I didn't go see him but talked to him on the phone.What else was I supposed to do?If I went over there I could have caught it too.
He was in a car accident 3 months ago and ended up with a broken arm and leg and a concussion.He got mad at me because when I got the call from the hospital at like 7 am,I was sleeping off a night of partying and didn't go to see him until 6pm that day.Did he want me to drive over there half-asleep?He claims I put him down all the time in front our friends.I may talk about hooking up with other guys in front of him but it's all said in good fun and everyone but him takes it that way.He also keeps getting mad when I flirt with my ex.My ex and I are just like that.It's harmless fun and nothing more.
He's threatening to dump me if I don't change.

Would you be ok with your girlfriend/boyfriend having gifts and pics from their last serious relationship? The gifts are stuffed animals and a bracelet. The pics are of them kissing but not a makeout kiss just like a cute pic pose kiss? She says she has a hard time throwing away stuff and that she keeps everything, which I really agree, she does keep EVERYTHING. I still think this is weird. What do you think?

Like there is something wrong with you? I keep getting guys that either I have no interest in (for good reason) trying to push me into relationships or guys that are avoidant of relationships. I am an nice sweet girl and not bad looking. I like sports and have interests of my own. I don't feel like I have to have someone else to define who I am. I am really depressed right now because of a talk me and my fiancee recently had. She said that she feels like she cant call me when she needs me. That crushed me because ive ALWAYS been there for her-when she calls up crying when her mother says bad things to her, when she is going crazy with stress, and every other time when she is feeling sorry for herself. We talk for four hours a night, but yet im never there for her. Who's the one that tries to make her feel good about herself every single time she calls-its me. Who always tells her these positive things about her when she's down-its me. I tell her all these things even when she throws them back in my face, and im tired of it. All the emotional abuse that she's been through at the hands of her devil mom is to blame and its been like this for the ten months we've known each other. Can you please give me some encouragement because i could definetly use some.

so this girl i work with. we started talking. She said she doesn’t has b/f but has a kid. I started liking her, she seemed to like me too (clumsy around me n stealing glances at me. the whole eye contact game,)I asked for her number, she gave me. So I try to call her and ask her to hang out. At first it didn't work b/c of timing and miscommunication. She still seemed interested, so after couple of weeks I try to ask her out again. then she seemed like she didn't want to break my heart, so she said “we'll go out on some special event or s/t like ur b-day party that u had. “

and lately I am getting the vibe she only meant to become friends.

I wouldn’t have thought about liking her, till I got the signs of her being interested in me, but know that i have crush on her, i don't know what to do.

My girlfriend broke up with me last night... it was really unexpected. I usually call her as I'm walking to my evening class and we talk for a few minutes, but last night she chose that time to break up with me... because she knew I'd have to go take my midterm and I wouldn't be able to respond.

Last night, I was incredibly angry with her because I thought that was a really cowardly and self centered way and time to break up with a person.

Today, I'm depressed. I don't have much confidence in myself when it comes to girls... so every time I break up, I feel like I'll never find another person again. And this particular girlfriend was so special to me, and we had so much in common... and I always thought we were so happy together. I really didn't see breakup coming.

It's just that in movies, when two people like/love each other they sort of have this moment where they just stare into each other's eyes, and then, totally without agreeing to it, they just kiss.

Does this actually happen in real life?

Because the last time I got kissed, the guy was just like "so....how about a kiss?" & then I was like "ummm...ok..." & so then we kissed....

So I'm just wondering if "movie" kisses really exist in real life, or if this is just something movie producers like to choreograph?

I hope you get my question.....

back in high school there was a boy who loved me but i kept pushing me away, at the end he pushed me away because he was hurt by actions. now so many years later, we met again online. He told me that he missed out on not being with me and that if we had gotten together he would have married me. He kept telling me how much he thought of me through the years..but when i told him how i much i cared about him..he shut down and refused to ever admit that he cares for me again. he recently got divorced and now lives with a woman who he says he is not in love with but feels obligated because she helped him through a rough time. we still email each other etc..and now i am in europe where he lives, and i keep emailing him saying let's get together and your girlfriend too for drinks but all he does is read my emails again 8 or 10 times and then after reading them 10 times he will write back saying I am too busy, sick, traveling etc....why is he having a hard time seeing me?
