It's one thing when you break up because you fight a lot or there's another person or smth, but I loved that person for 3,5 years and absolutely all this time was fantastic. Yeah, there were fights, and preasure from family and friends but the rest of the time we were having soo much fun and so much to share and I thought he was my twin sould-i loved his scent, touch, every word he uttered, i knew he would never do anything to hurt me. You may say i'm naive but it was THAT wonderful. But one day he came back from a trip and said that he doesn't see his future with me, that he cannot give the things I need, like security, and comfort and that he still loves me and wants to stay friends. I know he hasn't met anybody, he just has a quality i don't , that's realistic thinking. And I know that if he says we cannot be together that's true. But i love and i miss. Everything that he is or was, i miss the world with him, i cannot stand the world without him by my side.

So the other day I went to a movie with this girl I really like and a friend. Me and this girl kinda held hands through most of the movie and my friend said I should ask her out. On the way home we kinda had a talk, and pretty much decided she likes me but not really enough to go into a serious relationship with me yet. When I got home I was talking to my friend and he was saying now, that I should just try to be her friend for now.. which I thought was kinda strange since he had a total change of mind, but I knew he had been talking to her. Last night I noticed this girl had a message on her msn saying a quote from my friend "doesnt it make you wonder why hed like a girl like you?" or something. Plus theres a strange comment on his myspace about him calling her a liar. Hes obviously not telling me everything he knows and Id never to that with the girl he likes and is kinda seeing but not really. Do you guys think I should ask him about it or is that none of my buisness...

What are some things to consider when using personal adds? I have never tried them. Is it really a good way to try to meet someone? I am married so how does that affect it? I have heard that 1/3 of people using personals are married. Is that true? What are some things to watch for? Warning signs, etc?

Despite my best attempts, I have been unable attract the romantic interests of a woman in over three years and never had much success with women prior to this.

I have tried every strategy I can imagine, from attempting to mold myself into what women claim to desire, to "being myself", to attempting to make it appear as though I'm "not trying". Additionally, I have made every attempt to put myself in a position to meet someone, including volunteering at a charitable organization, hitting the bar/club scene, and switching churches to one with girls who are my age, all to no avail.

I have often seen other men walk up to a woman in a bar/club, begin talking to her, immediately cause her to “light up” and begin to smile and laugh, and then walk out with her at the end of the evening. On the other hand, when I attempt to approach a woman, I am usually ignored.

If you have intimate friend that you tell everything and consult him/her in your life and troubles ... would you take his/her advise if you stumble in your love issues ... getting deep into your privacy, would that help construct or destruct a love building?

I personally don't like chicks who moan too much, because then I think it sounds fake and like they're just acting.

I like it better when I can tell a girl tries to hold it in but can't. ha ha..

I met my boyfriend while studying abroad, and for the past few months we have kept a strong long distance relationship. There has always been something bothering him, and just yesterday he told me what it was.

He was born with extra bones in his left arm and leg, and will have them removed by surgery. At the moment, he already had one operation on his arm, which I knew about, and it left a not-so-pretty scar.

Just image that this guy fits all characteristical qualities: loyal, honest, open, encouraging, etc...but physically, he was not what was expect. I do not mean to sound shallow.

I do not judge someone based on outward appearances firstly. But, he has told me that it is my choice if I want to find someone better, such as in appearences. He wants the best for me.

He is from another country, culture, and religion, as well.

What would you do?

I've been with this guy for 2 yrs & he treated me very well during that 2 yrs, very loving, caring, etc... Ever since his dad pass away a yr ago however, his mom became needy, then he started to get confuse about what he wants, his career, his religion, etc... We were suppose to get engage this yr but he told me that as much as he love me, care for me, he can't make any commitment right now until he figure his stuff out, he needs more time. I told him that I don't mind sticking by him while he work thru things, but if he love me, he should know that he wants to be with me, I don't want to take the backseat to everything else in his life, maybe we should breakup then if he's not sure and we did, but he said he still love me and care for me. NEway, it's been 2 wks now, he didn't even call once, I call him couple of times but he didn't pick up or return my calls/text/etc... I just been in a car accident & text him about it, still no call from him. I'm confuse, does he stop caring 4 me?

Look what i found...

You might agree with it, but when it actually
happens 99% of girls dont realize it 'til it is too late and that guy who did it is so frustrated that he has moved on to someone who will take notice.

From a guys point of view:

We don't care if you talk to other guys.

We don't care if you're friends with other guys.

But when you're sitting next to us, and some random guy walks into the room and you jump up and tackle him, without even introducing us, yeah, it pisses us off.

It doesn't help if you sit there and talk to him for ten minutes without even acknowledging the fact that we're still there.

We don't care if a guy calls you, but at 2 in the morning we do get a little concerned.

Nothing is that important at 2 a.m. that it can't wait
till the morning.

Also, when we tell you you're pretty/ beautiful/ gorgeous/
cute/ stunning, we freaking mean it.

Don't tell us we're wrong.

We'll stop trying to convince you.

The sexiest thing about a girl is confidence.
Yeah, you can quote me.

Don't be mad when we hold the door open. Take Advantage of the mood im in.

LET US PAY FOR YOU!

DON'T "FEEL BAD"

We enjoy doing it.

It's expected.

Smile and

say "thank you."

Kiss us when no

one's watching.

If you kiss us when you know somebody's looking, we'll be more impressed.

You don't have to get dressed up for us.

If we're going out with you in the first place, you don't have to feel the need to
wear the shortest skirt you have or put on every kind of makeup you own.

We like you for WHO you are and not WHAT you are.

honestly, i think a girl looks more beautiful when she's just in her pj's. or my tshirt and boxers, not all dolled up

Don't take everything we say seriously.

Sarcasm is a beautiful thing. See the beauty in it.

Don't get angry easily.

Stop using magazines/media as your bible.

Don't talk about how hott Morris Chesnutt, Brad Pitt, or Jesse McCartney is in front of us.

It's boring, and we don't care. You have girlfriends for that.

Whatever happened to the word "handsome"/"beautiful"

I'd be utterly stunned by a girl who greeted me
with "Hey handsome!" instead of "Hey baby/ stud/ cutie/ sexy" or whatever else you can think of.

on the other hand im not sayin i woulndnt like it ether ; )

Girls, I cannot stress this enough: IF YOU AREN'T BEING TREATED RIGHT BY A GUY, DON'T WAIT FOR HIM TO CHANGE. DITCH HIS SORRY, DISGRACE-TO-THE-MALE-POPULATION ***, AND FIND SOMEONE WHO WILL TREAT YOU WITH UTTER
RESPECT

Someone who will honor your morals.

Someone who will make you smile when you're at your
lowest.

Someone who will care for you even when you make mistakes.

Someone who will love you, no matter how bad you make them feel.

Someone who will stop what theyre doing just to look you in the eyes....and say "i love you" ..

........AND ACTUALLY MEAN IT!

Give the nice guys a chance

Every Guy who isn't a jerk will agree with this, so we hope that all girls read this.

Say your girl friend just broke up with you because of a location change. You are in one state she is in another and the long distance thing i guess was not working out. When your birthday comes around she gives you underwear as a present (ex. boxers). She said she was going to go out on some date with her girl fiends because a couple guys asked them to. Basically she was planning on meeting another guy. She mailed the gift to me and I told her that i could not accept underwear from a "friend." She got all mad and talked about how much i hurt her or whatever. Does anyone think i did anything wrong? ( Ladies think of it as a ex boy friend sent you a thong or panties i guess)

2 years ago my husband cheated ending my marriage. I met a man 9 months ago. He was loving & understanding.seemed besotted by me.one night he said do you want to have a baby with me. We had unprotected sex. This happened twice. When I told him I was pregnant he was surprised and said he had withdrawn before he came. He asked me to have an abortion.I miscarried. We cont.. to see each other but I was emotionally up and down. He wasnt understanding. The other day he stopped contacting me and has completely ignored me. Although knowing the relationship was wrong for me. I just wanted some kind of dissusion about closure. I sent a couple of emails I tried to be very polite & articulate even when discussing my hurt. Being sensitive this has really hurt me.the silence is just horrible. My trust of men is at an all time low. Why would someone who seemed so in love be so cruel? How do I overcome the mistrust I feel?

Well i am twenty-one years old and I have been with my boyfriend for four years. Within our 1st year of dating i became pregnant and we both decided that we wern't ready for a child so we decided to go with adoption rather then having an abortion. So during the next year our realationship was extremly rocky because both of our familes didn't understand why were still 2gether since we decided to give the baby up for adoption. But we knew that we loved eachother and we would just stick it out. So then during the next year my boyfriend began going out with his friends all the time, so i decided that i would go out to, so we both ended up cheating on eachother during that period of time, we both completley regret and we both blame it on eachother. we say we love eachother but i honestly think the truth is that we are both just used to eachother. So now i am to the point where i want to end it but im just scared that i will be making a mistake?! Well I would love any and all comments. Thanks

In this country at least, seems to be status quo that if you try to be both, something must be wrong with you. If you're personally not afraid to resort to violence or some type of self-defense, naturally as a last resort, you're stereotyped as a retarded Neanderthal, pretentious macho man. But if you resort solely to a battle of wits, you're a p*ssy? Why are people afraid to be both? And why are people so terrified of people who aren't afraid to be both?

I've been in a strange relationship with a man for a year and a half. We've been having sex and all the other things that couples do but, he views our relationship as just friends? That really bothers me and to top it off now he wants to stop having sex because its wrong. He thinks that because we aren't married he can't accomplish anything in his life because he isn't "living right". I honestly don't think there is someone else, because I know WAY more about him than he thinks I do. So, help!!! Would you stick with a man that won't have sex with you or would you say goodbye and be on your way? HELP??!!!! I really do love him and want to spend the rest of my life with him, but is ALL this worth it?
