Singles & Dating - 14 March 2007

Here's just what i think from my collective 18 years in America and 3 years in Japan. If I, a white guy, date an asian girl --no matter how good looking or intelligent she may be-- the general public who sees us together automatically assumes that I am socially sub-par and that I settled on an asian girl because it's easier to begin dating one than dating a white girl. What's up with that? Plus, you'll never hear the end of the "me love you long time" jokes. I really don't want to be "that guy," the guy who has a "thing" for asians, but living in Japan, its very frustrating knowing that such a stereotype exists in the first place. I hate the people who had to create it and ruin things for the rest of us. Personally I just like hot girls, I don't care what race they are, but... when in Rome, right? What are your thoughts? Agree? disagree? Is it just my imagination? Like to add anything I may have left out?

Why do guys try to finger?
I was just wondering why do guys like to finger girls?
and also, does it hurt afterwards?
My boyfriend has tried it but I usually stop him
but he's persistant and he keeps trying so I'm just curious...

me and this girl were talking for a while but then we stopped. now im trying to talk back to her and she told me she only likes me as a frieend now. i still want her thou but i dont think she wants me should i just stop talking to her bcuz i cant do the friends thing i will just continue wanting her and i dont want that to happen

OK well this is responding to all the people that responded to my last post. p.s. thanks for everyones input. ..... ok to start out, its not that im not meetin girls in real life, i just dont know how to meet girls unless its through another girl you know. 2. its definitly not what im saying cause when i talk to them in person everything seems good im relaxed and keeping it light. 3. i tried not paying attention and that got me nowhere. 4. im really only calling or texting maybe once on weekdays if that? i may call once or twice on a weekend night if i didnt get an answer the first call or whatever. im not coming on strong but that may be my problem. i dont know if im trying hard enough on the weekends or if im just kinda getting wasted and not really trippin about these girls, when i should be caring A LITTLE....

I have had a crush on him for a year, now. He is a very friendly and outgoing type of guy. He is much older than I am 13 years older. I am around my 20s and he is around his 40s. He seems to flirt with everybody. He always makes compliments to everybody. He's just a outgoing person. But here is the catch, he has a gf for about, "I think two years." He has been flirting with me a lot, and sometimes seems to stop, and go on. And questions how I am doing, and if anything is going to happen over the weekend. Now for the last two months he has been teasing me and joking with me. This I have not seen done to other coworkers at the site, only with me, I think. I really like him a lot, and I know he is forbidden, and should forget about him. I am trying to do my best, and can't seem too. I am too a people person, but just can't figure out this friendly and great man. Is he just friendly, I have never met a guy this friendly and outgoing. I am confused? Advice is needed!

I like this one guy at school and he has a girlfriend. In my world he is considered out of my league but everytime i look at him he is looking back at me. ok well as i said im a good lookin guy. i get girls to become "interested" in me without really doing much a lot of the time. but for some reason i can never really seem to do anything about it and i dont know why. i try n talk to these girls a bit in person, then as bad as it sounds a bit on myspace or facebook or whatever. we always say stuff like "ya we'll kick it tonight for sure" stuff like that. and of course that usually doesnt end up happening. many times ill call and not get a call back til the next day and whatever. but it cant be my imagination that these girls are interested cause theyre the ones many times hitting on me at first ill say, theyre doing stuff that makes you think everythings 100%. and then ill send myspace messages or text messages or whatever and theyll read everything, n then never send anything back. and this usually goes on for a few weeks. i hate talkin on the phone and bein flirty over phone convos and whatnot but am i doing something wrong? is it me?

Hey. How are you? Ever since we stopped talking, (me and her haven't talked for ten months) I had been going over everything in my head, trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. You know, I still remember what you said to me the last time we talked, the things you were mad at me about. I remember the first thing you said was that I harassed you. A man i dont like and dont have any interest in brought a campaign online to get revenge on me and play stupid games. He hired another guy to give me a hard time and they both try to give me problems in every which way imaginable when im online. I would never consider being involved with either of them and am above them lookswise, financially, every area yet they seem to try to insult me every chance they get. I asked why, one of them said 'I like to make you feel bad'..Why are they wasting their time doing this? I dont care about these people yet they always try to get my attention and wont leave me be. What would cause a man to try to set up the object of his affection after being rejected and to be so juvenile as to name call and gang up on a person? Ive never known someone so pathetic before. Whats the motive in this?

Ok so i have the hots for my sisters boss. He's been comming over a lot, everytime i've asked him to come over and hang out or whatever. He had asked my sister if i had the hots for him, we partied that night, he called my sis the next day to see how i was feeling, then we went to his party that weekend. I like completely froze and didnt really talk to him that much, a shy smile and a hi and that was about it. He knows I like him now. He's comming to my birthday party this weekend as well. He broke up with his ex a few months ago, they were together for 4 years...and she screwed him over big time, numerous times, and in the end a big finale of a screw over pretty much. He's not exactly as forward as myself am, im trying to figure out how to watch for signs or signals if he's interested, i wanna play it cool.
