Where would you rate it out of all the criteria that a guy needs to have? Like what would be above it and what would be below it.

Depends on how important religion is in your life. If you spend a lot of time at church, it's pretty important. If one of the partners is a practicing Mormon and the other isn't, it's a big problem. Otherwise I would rate it at the bottom of the list and it shouldn't be an issue.

I don't have a religion and I don't care what my guy's beliefs are. If he wants to convert me though, he'll have to convince me beyond reasonable doubt (not likely :). If it even has a position on my list of all criteria it would be sitting along the bottom with making his side of the bed or other things I couldn't care less about. Hmm something I had to place above it.. Directly above I guess I'd put uses my brand of toothpaste, ha.

If you are dating for fun, then I guess it doesn't really matter. If you are dating for love, then I think it's essential for one reason: kids. If your religion matters to you at all, even if that religion is no religion, then you will want your kids to be brought up a certain way. If your partner isn't on board with that, it will be an outrageous strain on the relationship for the rest of your time together. I think a Methodist and a Lutheran could work through it, but if it's something like Christian and Hindu, I think it's game over.

Depends on looks and race.

I know a girl who completely disowned me because she felt I don't "believe."

She has sided with other guys, guys who are mean and completely without manners, just because they put on a better front. I mean, between them and me, I actually have gone "by the book" more than they have, but they are more popular in the congregation, and at their beck and call she disowned me. She was a good friend to me. I cherished the friendship with her more than a friendship with any guy, and she just threw it down like a cinder block shattering upon concrete.

I have vomitted a few times this week just thinking about it, but life goes on.

To me, if I love a girl, it's unconditional, but it may not go both ways.

Nope. i recognize many marriages, my sister's lined, the place the psychological point is very diverse, however the marriage is fairly happy. i recognize greater marriages the place the psychological point became into severe for the two however the marriage became into on the rocks very almost as quickly because it began. in case you do not have recognize for others, it purely would not paintings. would not count the intelligence point. That suggested, I even have greater issues of a mentality it particularly is simple with many lesser sensible human beings (for loss of a greater useful term). As my sister suggested as quickly as "dumb human beings do not recognize they're dumb", inspite of the undeniable fact that it rather is stressful to forget approximately approximately their stupid comments.

It is at the top for me I could not marry an athiest. It is more important to me then how much money they have but chemistry and having a sense of humor are before religion.

I really don't care what my partner's religion is - but if he cares what mine is to the point where he would want me to change that would be a problem.

Just make sure that both of you will not talk about religion when you're together.
