It is also said to cause blindness, insanity, and hairy palms.

never heard of it being harmful to any one.have heard that men who masturbate last a little longer as this teaches them how to keep from coming to soon.and yes i am aware of the way i spelled that.

Not harmful at all with your bare hands, however overdoing it may cause a rash - not too bad.
