That depends on how old you're talking about. If a 8yr dates a 2yr old, something's very wrong.

Depends on the maturity level and the ages .Lets face it pal if you're 18 and she's 12 you're headed for big trouble ,but then again if your 28 and she's 22;well you got a got chance .
The point is grow up and use your damned head just the fact you would ask a question like that shows you're not ready for a relationship like that .

As the previous posters have alluded, it rather depends on age. If you're 19, then dating a 13-year-old probably isn't going to achieve anything, except perhaps a criminal record.
However, I am 34 and my wife is 28, and we have a very happy and strong relationship. I met her when I was 30 and she was 24 and we dated for about three-and-a-half years before getting married this year. So if you're asking because you find yourself in this situation: Go for it!
(as long as it's not illegal!)

depends on the age. If the younger person is under 18, yes.. the gap is too much.

Depends on your age. If one is underage, that's a big YES. If you're in your twenties, it might be a problem but nothing that can't be worked out unless one person is just really immature. Anything over 30 is probably ok. There's not too much of life experience difference so it should work out ok.

no what that is just fine. I am with someone who is way much more gap then that. If you just dating there is no limit on age. He go for it young or old is ok in most situations.

You have to clarify. How old are you both? If one of you is 20 and the other is 26, thats not a big issue. But if one of you is 16 and the other is 22, thats an issue.

As the first post said, bobbyr19, you need to tell us the ages....unless its teenagers, we are talking about, no age does not matter as long as you are speaking about adults. It is actually better to have 5 or 6 years difference, my husband is five years older than me, and its great.

Only when one is over 18 and the other is under 18. My last g/f and I were 8 years difference and it never seemed to be an issue for either of us. Its only an issue if one of you focuses on it to much and allow it to become a problem.
