I mean... what's the best way to tell a girl that I like her, when I have known her for a while and she's kind of my best friend... What words should I use? Should I tell her face to face or should I do it by messenger?

Well, heres the story behind this. Me and this girl have been VERY good friends for a few years now....ironically, we have opposing political viewpoints, and we really used to hate each other. But then we noticed that was all we didnt have in common, and now we are best of friends. infarct, we have even talked about dating. The thing is, shes shy as hell. She knows that I really do like her as more than just a friend, but she never has anything to say about that, or anything else personal really. Especially in person or on the phone (though I can get her to talk about me and her on aim sometimes). She says that she likes me that way as well, but she is scared to risk out friendship. Also, just for anyone who has ever heard the song "what hurts the most" by Rascal Flatts,

I've been with my girlfriend for almost for months now. I love her and she really loves me too. But we fight a lot (as in almost every 2 or 3 days). Most of the fights are because she still wants to hang out with her ex-boyfriends, and now because she said she would stop, but still does secretly. I think she's doing this more out of principle than because she still feels something for them, but what hurts me is that she can't seem to just be honest with me.
I've been thinking about breaking up for both our sakes, but I still love her. I really don't know what to do. Help please.

I have been seeing this gentleman since July of last year, he tells that he loves me and even had me meet his family. It just seems like he's preoccupied in his mental state or something. There is no other woman. Do I think that he really loves me, I don't know. I only want to know one thing, what does confused really mean to him? This is the second time he has answered my question with the word confused. Please help me figure this guy out!

I've asked so many questions on here but I love to hear others views. Me and my ex of 7 years broke up and he moved 2000 miles away..Well, he moved before we broke up..I know there isn't another woman. I am pregnant with his child and we are very young...22 & 23. We had our wedding planned before the baby. Dr. said I would never be able to have kids..my ex wanted one and I ended up getting pregnant. We wasn't trying because of what the Dr. told me. He was very excited while I was kind of depressed because I wanted to be married and have my degree. Now, I wish he comes back and I know alot of people thinks that is stupid. We had a pretty good relationship, His father walked out on him as a baby. He tells me he misses me and loves me but picks stupid fights..Does distance really make the heart grow fonder?? I told him last night we shouldn't talk until we clear our heads..Has this every happened to anyone? He says we "can't" work it out..but yet sends me mixed signals..

As I mentioned in one question already,after great time together and he pursuing serious relationship and wanting me to be more and more open and commited, he just, all of sudden, one mornignsent msg that feelings grew on friendship side and that he doesn't want to waste anybody times. It was shock, it came from nothing. He wasn't giving me any clue, nothing... I heard thta he does that when he falls in love.. Im starting a new job tommorow and I have an interview set up for a second job :) BUT my sister told me that this lady that knows me said Oh I love your sister, Im so excited shes coming to work with us but she has this wall built up around her, OK this is the second time someone has told me this. I just want to take it down, any suggestions? I've been seeing a guy for about 2 months now. We dont see each other very often. He's told me he likes me, but there are a few complicated issues. First of all there is the fact that he is friends with my ex and my ex resents the fact that he went after me. The second thing is that he doesn't seem to trust me since I do have some guy friends that I hang out with. He got upset because I hung out with my ex and another guy. If I was actually dating him I wouldnt have done that but we were not dating. Now I don't know if he is actually still interested because he doesn't act like other guys I have dated before. Most guys want to see me at least every other day or talk to me, but he doesn't. He rarely answers my text messages. He told me however that he's sent me text messages but I didn't receive even one. I would like to believe him but I'm pretty sure that he was lying about that, I just don't know why he would lie to me about that, he could just tell me he isn't interested.

Is it acually love. I am not sure but I have these butterflies things in my tummy when I am near him. If I do like him, what should I do. I am knew to this. Give me help. Dont know if I should talk to him, because I am a person who everyone thinks that I would be the last person known to like anyone. Everytime they asked who I liked, when I didnt like anyone, i would always nay no one, now they stopped asking because they know the answer. Now i do, I think, like someone. I'm not ready to date, but I feel really unattractive because no guys actually talk to me. Lots of people say I'm pretty (most say I'm asian looking or exotic looking) but no guys come up to me and flirt with me. I have a history with really abusive guys and I'm suspicous of them. everynight he gets on the computer and stays on it all night chatting to women. and i got fed up with it tonight and i threw a bottle at him, it was empty but the lid hit him in the head very hard. i know it hurt him. and now i feel so bad. but didnt he deserve it just a little bit. he hurts me everynight when he chats to people online more than he does me.

My boyfriend (of 2 years) left his backpack here today after school. I seen some notes in it the other day when he was going through it, so i took it down to my room and read all the notes. They were from his ex girlfriend. They said things like "you were right, i got so lonely in the shower last night. but you would have enjoyed the show afterwards.. i was walking around naked!!" and things like that. He also ditched a class a couple weeks ago to go drive around with her, and he seen how hurt i was, and yet he still continues to talk to her like that? He tells me shes like a sister to him. I just feel torn up inside over it, and whenever i see her in the halls i just want to burst into tears. I feel in the wrong for reading his notes and getting into his buisness and everything, but he's cheated on me before, and i'm scared of it happening again. I also cheated on him afterwards, but we both came clean. Should i tell him i read them, and try talking to him about it?
