I've been seeing a guy for about 2 months now. We dont see each other very often. He's told me he likes me, but there are a few complicated issues. First of all there is the fact that he is friends with my ex and my ex resents the fact that he went after me. The second thing is that he doesn't seem to trust me since I do have some guy friends that I hang out with. He got upset because I hung out with my ex and another guy. If I was actually dating him I wouldnt have done that but we were not dating. Now I don't know if he is actually still interested because he doesn't act like other guys I have dated before. Most guys want to see me at least every other day or talk to me, but he doesn't. He rarely answers my text messages. He told me however that he's sent me text messages but I didn't receive even one. I would like to believe him but I'm pretty sure that he was lying about that, I just don't know why he would lie to me about that, he could just tell me he isn't interested.

he seems afraid to get close to me, I don't know if he wants a relationship with me anymore, the trust issue got in the way, but I know he was thinking about it before

I do want to show him that I am trustworthy. I don't think that I should have spent any time with my ex anyway, so I've cut myself off from him.

i think it is not the time to decide - just live as you did it before - if he needs or or is interested - he will find time and possibilities to be with you!!! and do tno blame yourself for hanging out with the people you want!!!!
i think show him you are more independent!!

Hmmm...sounds like he's giving conflicting messages. Perhaps you should set up some dates with him and have him call you instead of text you. Or even have him e-mail you.

If he continues to say he has written, and hasn't, then he is probably not interested. It is better to leave it alone and go for somebody more direct, then.

He may like you, but it's too early for him to claim you and say that you have no right to hang out with other guys. While I don't believe girls should have a lot of guy friends while having a boyfriend and vice versa, I'm not sure he has a right to claim that on you so early on in your relations.

give up on him

People say they 'find' love, as if it were an object hidden by a rock. But love takes many forms, and it is never the same for any man and woman. What people find then is a certain love.

Love, like rain, can nourish from above, drenching couples with a soaking joy. But sometimes, under the angry heat of life, love dries on the surface and must nourish from below, tending to its roots, keeping itself alive.

Lost love is still love. It takes a different form, that's all. You can't see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them around a dance floor. But when those senses weaken, another heightens. Memory. Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it.

He may be regretting getting together with you because he is friends with your ex ..or he is torn between his friend(your ex) and you..and he just doesnt know how to be a man and let you know that he is having second thoughts about your "relationship"..You need to approch him about this in a private place and just tell him to be honest. You never know whats going on inside his head.
