and people have no problem telling me this. How can I stop people from referring to my lack of beauty...and how do i live a life where looks dont matter?

I had a boyfriend last year but we (mutually) broke up and aren't friends although we "see" each other once a week because his work correlates with the company I work for, plus he gets his paycheck there. Today he told me that I "really looked nice" and that it was "really great to see me again" even though he only saw me a few days before. He acted as if he hadn't seen me for a month. I don't wanna overanalyze but I wanna hear your opinion.

I like this girl at my gym, but get nervous around her. I don't know what to say half the time, but I want to ask her out. I think I'm just afraid of the rejection from her b/c in the past, I already knew the girl liked me back when I've asked them out. I just recently moved to a new state, so I don't have those type of connections and I'm lost on what to do.

I really like this guy, and he's really cool, and I think he likes me too, at least i know he used to, but i went to a party this weekend and he seems so desperate. This really immature girl was flirting with him and he took it, probably just because hes desperate. He's gone out with about three girls from the same immaure group. I want to rescue him from liking younger girls and make him grow up a bit. How would i go about this!?

3 weeks ago my ex-bf called me & asked me to go see a movie with him. The weird thing is that HE was the one who dumped me, we only dated for one month AND this call came after one year. I said yes, he picked me up, then as soon as the movie was done he drove me home. It felt kinda rushed, on the drive home when I asked him why he wanted to see he said, "I wanna see you every once in awhile". We never had sex cuz he knew that I wanna save myself for marriage. During this year although he never asked me to see him, he did talk to him on msn. Is he stringing me along & what does he want? He's 26 while I'm 21.Some say he wants sex, but he knows my beliefs and he can get anywhere since a lot of girls put out. He could still have feelings for me but why won't he just ASK ME OUT again? Not ask me to “hangout” but I mean why won't he ask me to be his gf again, to really date again? I mean he's 26, he's graduating from grad school, gonna get his MBA degree & he's strating a job in June. It seems like he wants to settle down but why won't he just ask me out? What the hell is his deal?

About a year ago i saw the most beautiful girl i've ever seen. She is perfect in every way and has everything i could ever ask for in a girl. It started in 10th grade where i thought i saw her checking me out but wasn't exactly sure. For the rest of 10th grade this continued, both of us looking at each other but no clear signals were sent. She is a year older than me and a hot cheerleader. Im an extremely shy guy who has never had a gf before because of this. I'm not trying to brag but i feel im one of the hottest guys at my school, i even have girls just up and tell me im hot but all already had bfs. Summer came and i just accepted the fact im just too shy to ask her out and that shes out of my league anyway. Im now in 11th grade and all it took was one look at me from her and im hooked on her again. I cant stop thinking about her..ive found myself staying upto 2-3am on school nights thinking of her. I really want to ask her out but i dont know how since i never have before.

I am now a single mother, my boyfriend is now no longer living in this country. I lost communication with him 3 months ago. He has been gone even longer than that though , for like 6 months. I have a son with him. Since he left I haven't been sleeping well. I feel overwhelmed with the baby.I want to go to school and get a job. My family doesn't help much. Well not as much as he did when he was here. I have dated other people but dumped them on the spot. I also compared the new relationship with the old one. I seem to find that all the guys I date are really horrible people- and its not until late in the relationship that I figure that out!! i read that in internet , and also i read that woman is only emotional unlike man is emotional,visual , physical

Last yr, my boyfriend broke up with me. Even though we're no longer together, he still calls every weekends (for one month) asking how I've been doing and stuffs. Then the next month, we decided to see each other. We kissed and made-up but we weren't still in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. We acted like we're already a couple (kissed, called each other "baby," etc) but we really are not. At the end of the month he told me he's letting me go 'cause he's not ready to committ yet and his love for me has faded a little after we broke-up. The next month we kissed and made-up again! He told me he had a little love for me left, he cares a lot about me and blah. But I feel deep down inside him he LOVES ME SOOO MUCH he's just not saying/expressing it that much. Right now we're "together" again, doing what couples do (minus sex). I REALLY LOVE HIM. It's just so hard to let him go. Do you think he still loves me? What can I do so he could love me again wholly? HELP. =,(

He gave me a card and said Happy Birthday and we went out later that night with some friends to celebrate...which is fine, that's all I want. I am just confused because he asked me several times before my birthday what I wanted for a gift. I always said "I don't need anything" and I don't. But why wouldn't he have said something like "I didn't get you a gift, but I've got your drinks tonight" or "I didn't have the money for a gift (he just bought a house so I would completely understand), but I can't wait to celebrate with you" or something! It was just kind of awkward there was no acknowledgement of the gift-giving tradition whatsoever, I don't know if I should ask him about it or not. What does everyone think?
