About a year ago i saw the most beautiful girl i've ever seen. She is perfect in every way and has everything i could ever ask for in a girl. It started in 10th grade where i thought i saw her checking me out but wasn't exactly sure. For the rest of 10th grade this continued, both of us looking at each other but no clear signals were sent. She is a year older than me and a hot cheerleader. Im an extremely shy guy who has never had a gf before because of this. I'm not trying to brag but i feel im one of the hottest guys at my school, i even have girls just up and tell me im hot but all already had bfs. Summer came and i just accepted the fact im just too shy to ask her out and that shes out of my league anyway. Im now in 11th grade and all it took was one look at me from her and im hooked on her again. I cant stop thinking about her..ive found myself staying upto 2-3am on school nights thinking of her. I really want to ask her out but i dont know how since i never have before.

No one is perfect. I promise you, this beautiful girl you think is perfect has her share of flaws! Maybe she farts a lot. Maybe she picks her nose. Maybe she's full of herself. Who knows. But the point of all this is, she's not out of your league. So ask her out. If you know enough about her, you can tailor the date to suit her. But if you know nothing, pick a movie (romantic comedies are a good choice for first dates) and a decent place to eat (sit down restaurant, and tip well!), and ask her "Would you like to go with me to see X movie and have dinner afterwards (or before) at X place at X time on X day", or something very close to that (the way I type it doesn't sound natural, but the important thing is to suggest a specific date at a specific time and day). She may say she has plans for that time... so have a back up time and day ready. If she is interested, and she also has plans for the second time, she will suggest a time that works for her. If she's not interested, she'll just say no. Don't pursue if she says she's busy for the second time. You got turned down, but it's okay, cause there's lots of imperfect girls in the world ;D
EDIT: taking her out for coffee in HS isn't a great idea, but the idea of a light date is good. The sody-fountain is way outdated... what do you kids do for fun nowadays anyways?? The point of the coffee shop thing is a short date, face to face, where you get to know each other. That can be accomplished with dinner, even if you don't see a movie.

You're killing yourself by not taking action. Don't listen to your brain. Talk to her first so you get comfortable around her. She's probably a senior now. Ask her what her plans are for graduation or after HS. Start the conversation and finish quickly, but let her know you want to continue later (get her number or ask her for coffee or something). Then take her out after a football game and go crazy.
Have Fun and stop tortuing yourself!!!!

the best thing you can do is ask her out
in the unlikely event that she says no you will still feel relieved
i asked out a hottie, got shutdown and felt better well... a month on she was not nice about it but thats beside the point
start living man, go crazy

Just ask her to go for coffee with you. And start there.
Change the coffee shop for another place that she will like more, that's all.
