is that inappropriate and rude? is it a compliment? how would you react if you were whistled at by a fine handsome lad. what about a perverted construction worker? what will happen in your town if your husband/boyfriend caught the whistler?

I take it as very rude to whisttle at me
first am not a 'dog' he he and it doesnot matter who does it
whether handsome,a construction worker,a president....etc
any man worth his salt would be bold enough to approach ME
in a decent way than turning himself into some kind of 'a bird' to attract my attention!

If My Bf come accross such,I would pretend nothing happened,
he he he!

Good day

Cat calling it's rude.Done by many uneducated construction workers & day laborers,Yuck I hate it.
Do they still do that? I avoid construction sites I guess, haven't heard that in years. Maybe a good thing though. I avoid those types of men period if I can,I like the polite kind educated, relatively conservative types of men.

I guess guys/men can't help themselves sometimes. I would say that its disrespectful and uncomfortable (as a woman), but I guess its a sign that they find you attractive. Although, knowing men, it probably just means that they'd like to sleep with you...
