is it possible to fall back in love with some one after you fell out of love with them? in other words, is it possible to fall in love again with your ex?

I would say it's possible.. but I don't think I would say that the person actually fell out of love.. I would be more inclined to say they tried to not have feelings for the person, or hid the feelings from themselves to try and move on, and then the feelings came back...
But if a person truly falls out of love with someone, I do think it would be possible to fall in love again with the same person, and it might be easier than falling in love with some one else (depending what happened with the ex) because you were once in love with them before for whatever reasons..

Yes it is although I'd daresay you never really fell out of love, it just sort of got lost. I loved a woman back in the late 70's and sadly, I had to walk away. I've loved other women since but I guess I've never stopped loving her, although I haven't thought of her constantly. I think, if she came back into my life, the love would certainly still be there although, people do change, I may be in love with what she was, not what she is now.

what has changed?
is he just a port in a storm? or did time away make you realize what qualities he possed and you found out that was what you were looking for all along?
the snooze you lose rule would be in effect here. If you left him for greener pastures and he moved on and found someone else you should love him enough to let his relationship run its course. if he stays with this woman then you snoozed so you lose.
if he breaks up with her then you can make your feelings known.
if you broke up with him he may have trouble trusting you again so be prepared for that.
if you are just looking for out for self and dont honor his relationship then if you do get him he will know that you dont honor relationships.
if you try to break up his current, and are successful then you will have started him on a pattern of taking the best offer, which means one day you may be out if someone else comes along.
so yes you can fall back in love with someone but watch what seeds you plant with him for you will surely reap what you sew.

It depends what drove you two apart. In my case, I am separated from her and trying to decide if alone (which I hate) is better than being around her. I think I could tolerate her better now that she has had a taste of being with me. Fall in love - don't know yet. Able to co-exist - maybe.

Nope, absolutley impossible, especially with emotions, since they never change. In fact, if you try to get back together with him, you will burst into flames and the federal tax rate will go through the roof! So, for the sake of the country, don't try it!
