look my dad put me on birthcontrol like a week ago and i am NOT i repeat NOT sexually active! and i told him that put he still insists on me taking it! and i just don't know why! i mean i don't know if he thinks i am lying to him! or is he just trying to protect me? there are 11 girls in my skool who r pregnant most of which are freshmen!(i am a freshmen too) so just does someone wanna tell me why!

even my ex has moved on and found other to love, i too i'm trying to move on, we don't have contact and i haven't spoken to him in person since he dumped me on msn but we still see each other around and thats hard, he treated me bad towards the end and i don't want him back, he's running after this other girl (i was once that girl)now i pity her shes younger than him and i hope she knows what she is letting herself into just because hes in a band doesn't mean he's a nice person, anyway i have been looking myself but everyone seems taken and everyone around me seems to be truly in love, i guess i'm feeling kind of low right now is there anything i can do? any comforting words or songs to listen to? HELP i no longer want to feel like this!!!

I'm just wondering why do we (Woman) wait for them (Men) even though obviously they won't make up their minds anytime soon. I have been waiting for this guy that I like to make up his mind if he wants to be with me. AND not to mention this other girl who totally is hanging all over him (an ex). She only does it because she knows it pi$$e$ me off. She seems to think that she has dibs because she dated him before, like he's some piece of property. She the one who broke up with him and he told me that she already blew her chance. Should I be worried? I'm not a jealous person but she's really bothering me. Should I wait for him to make a decision or tell him that he needs to choose between us. I've been having a hard time with this, I haven't eating for the past three days because I'm really nervous and stressed about what he's going to say. Please Help... I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!

I don't understand. Just like you may not like a certain food or certain activity, it is just as common to not like children. I think it takes a lot to be a parent and some people are just intolerant to children and some of their ways. I'm not saying "HATE" I'm just saying partiularly not liking children. Why does something have to be wrong. Why do they have be compared to kitten-kickers in "Parenting" Magazine (September 2006 issue)? I think that to say you MUST like children is tryiong to impose a lifestyle which may not apply to everyone on a person. That is not fair. As cute and funny as they may be, they are NOT for everyone. So why do people come down so hard on people who prefer the company of adults? You may not like smoking or dogs. And you may not like whipped cream. And you just may not like kids... what's so wrong with that? How are you supposed to help that?

I know this girl she is 27 and I'm 29, right now she is in final stage of her divorce and been separated from here husband for almost a year. I like here a lot and I know she feels the same way....she told me so and all the body language signs are hard to ignore. I've made my intentions very clear and she didn't resist but now she is telling me that she is worried because her divorce isn't done and she wouldn't want to loose me as friend...what does she mean by that?
what can I say to make her feel better about this?
her husband is no issue...as a matter of fact he is already dating seeing someone else for 6months. She couldn't care less about him....and he is the one who is dragging his feet with signing the papers.
I just got out of a 5 year relationship back in October my self
when I was in the relationship I didn't see her often, only at social events with plenty of friends around including her husband who also is my friend
she told me that she is not ready for relationship yet
I was cool about and understanding, i backed off a little but we talk all the time, catch a movie or a dinner on occasions....she tells me everything about her divorce
just last night when we talked I told her that I'm waiting for a friend of mine to give me a ride, and she says "I wish you would have call me , any time you need a ride just give me a call''
is she trying to get closer to me after telling me about a month ago that she is not ready and she is confused?
back then she was thorn and little hurt by the divorce but since than her husband turn the divorce into an ugly battle field and now she hates his guts
what is going on?
Is it a good idea to give her something little for V-day? And what would you give in this situation so it wont make you look to pushy or desperate?
Also as I stay out of town all the time is it appropriate to give here something way ahead or after the 14th or it doesn't matter?

I know a lot of women that are wonderful people but are shut out of the dating scene because they are not a size 5. Would you date someone who you knew to be a wonderful, smart, caring, honest person, but was overweight?? If not why? I was out with an attractive Indian man and he told me he only started dating last year when he was 28 yrs. old. He came to America from India when he was 22, been in the U.S. for 7 yrs. completed his masters and now doing his Ph.D.. He says due to his conservative upbringing and Indian culture, it's not unsual to start dating at such a late age. I find this something unbelievable and skeptical at best. I broke off a relationship with somebody who apparently had some serious issues left to deal with from a former relationship. I have told him time and time again that it is over with us. He keeps emailing and calling me because he thinks there is still a chance. I don't want to be cruel or mean to him but a person can only take so many "I can't live without you" emails. We were best friends. I told him I wanted more. At first, he was really sweet and lovey dovey and he paid loads of attention to me, even though I was never his girlfriend.
These days, he'll still be nice, but he's kind of edged on and keeps on telling me how much he likes these other guys and girls (he's bi), but he keeps saying things like we're gonna live together when we're older and have kids and stuff.
I've TRIED so hard to get over him and start to like others, but I can't and when he talks about how he likes other people, he makes me so jealous, and I've told him this.
I really don't know what to do anymore.. Please help?

Me and my beau have decided to just be friends until he moves closer to me and can devote the proper time to the relationship. It will be another 2 months before he moves. At first I felt happy about the decision, but it seems that he calls me less than he did, like every other day opposed to every day. It may sound petty but when we don't talk as much, I feel it's never going to work out. We've talked about this many times but he assures me nothing has changed, he just can't call often since he has no cell phone. I try to play it cool by creating distance since we are just friends for now, but I still long for him. I often prepare myself for what I would do or say to him if after 2 months he still didn't get serious.I asked him if he felt he would be ready for something serious when he gets everything settled and he said "yes" very confidently. The anxiety is overwhelming but I love him. How do I know he isn't slowly drifting? How do I keep things alive between us for the time being?
