safe to say that as i am writing this my friend just called his girlfriend BORING to her face. disrespectful or what!!! she had a good old laugh with me and my friends last night. i was about to "get busy" with her but the old conscience kicked in at the last minute, so i just pecked her on the cheek.

i think this is my minds way of telling me to back off. but the girl is hot.

any thoughts??

I've had these feelings for months but never had the courage to tell him. Anyway, I finally let it go at a friend's diner and we started talking about feelings, relationships and values we share. He's been remarkably caring and understanding & we talked for nearly 3hrs at my friend's before continuing overnight at mine.
He’s got lots of qualities and I’m driven by his personality and his force of character. BUT... a few phrases came several times during our chat such as: I don’t wanna hurt you / I just don’t know [what I want] / You deserve better, which were quite hard to hear from someone who said he’d known for long how I felt and who was being very tender with me as he was speaking.
Now I’m confused, I dunno if I should gently try and push him because my impression is that he’s so devoted to other people that he doesn’t want to allow himself a relationship he fears would take him away from what/whom he cares for, or if that’s his way of saying ‘no’ to me.
Any advice?

How do you get past feeling angry toward someone who's not treating you right?
I'm kinda enduring an awkward situation at work. One of my closest guy friends works at the same place as I do and I began to develop feelings for him though he's in a long-term long-distance relationship. I told him I liked him and that it was best that we ignore each other for awhile so I can get over him. Anyway he asked me if I wanted to hook up with him, i said i did, but then he said i should do it with another guy I like. Anyway during all of this, I got mad at him for jerking my feelings around and I ended up calling him a dog, but then I apologized. I said all of this via text. The next day I wrote him a letter saying how sorry I was for how I acted, and that it was better that we treat each other as professionals since he has a gf and I need to move on. The thing is he's ignoring me and has been for the past 4 weeks. Last week, was my birthday and I got a card from some coworkers. He wrote Happy Birthday, but didn't sign his name and he's still not talking to me.

The “kool-aid” character is now wearing pants!
When I was growing up the kool-aid man would burst through a wall and pour me a delicious refreshing class of punch. Now MACCWP (Mothers Against Carton Characters Without Pants) and the like have banned together and our childhood memories are now crushed. You thing I’m kidding, I got 2 words… Sponge Bob …

balance right in your relationship? Should it be set and adhered to? or should it change when needed?
What sort of balance do YOU look for?

I known this one girl for 3 years. We dated and it was great. But she had an ex and still loved him, I tried to accept this and I did, but I still loved her and cared for her while I was with her. But a month ago she said she had met this other guy and then like 2weeks after meeting with him, she broke up with me for this guy. I still love her, but letting go and not trying to call her is so difficult and hurts so bad. It is like she was with her ex for 5 years, then I met her and I met for when she was with him in her 4 year. I persued her for a year, thats where the 5th year with comes from.Directly after she broke up with him, she dated me. now a year and a half later she leaves me for a guy she has only known for 2 weeks. How is that possible?

I am 23 years old and my boyfriend is 34 years old.
I met him when summer time. He is always wearing a t shirt and short pants. that was good for me. but when I saw him when summer gone, he is wearing a polo with jeans. and he is putting polo inside of the jeans.................... I was really shocked when I saw that. and I felt generation is different.
and other day he is wearing a shirt with pants, and also he is putting the shirt inside of the pants.
I didn't say at that time about his clothes. I wanted to say I hate your taste of clothes.
Should I say that I hate your clothes sometimes, and I want to buy your clothes together ?
I think he is 34 years old and he think that I am not young, so i dont have to care about cool clothes. but he is not bad looking and he has good body, so if he change clothes, he would be good.
If I say that your cloth is not cool to my boyfriend, is it rude for him ???
When your boyfriend is wearing not cool clothes, what do u say?

I've been told that I'm shy and submissive by a lot of men and it seems like men like it. But i'm not. I'm wild, impulsive and loud.

I don't get out very often, and when I do its at this local bar that can only be described as a dive. I perform at karaoke night, and Im constantly told how much moxy it takes to get up in front of people and sing. In this respect I have confidence. I have always been able to sing and I am quite comfortable when I do. My history with girls however is shameful in every sense of the word, and after a few drinks an attempt to talk to a girl I am interested in always turns into an unparalleled defeat. I've always been rather emotional so obviously this is heightened with inebriation. I tend to bring up my insecurities with a girl, and at the first sign of this openness the girls become disinterested, and often times downright nasty. Now I've heard countless girls praise the virtue of honesty with resounding acclaim, but I'm a bit confused about why they feel they can be so selective in the type of honesty they prefer, and also why a lack of confidence is considered so unattractive.

I love a girl but she doesn't love me. So I decided to be her friend to keep my chance. Now, I send to her some sms each day to tell some fun story or ask about her day. Sometime she answer my sms but sometime not. I just want to get more closer with her. Do you think what I am doing is right?

We're actually planning to leave together after she finishes her studies in her country, then she would move and live and finish her studies and life (whole hopefully :) ) with me.

Now, I know that long distance relationships aren't simple, and often finishes badly.

But we do love each other and I'd like to know whether i should write to her everyday day and call her once or so a week or leave it until I really miss her and then calling her from time to time only...

Thank you for your help :)

when you ask where the relationship stands or if i should give him space or make an effort? my boyfriend is out of work and i think he's stressed and busy right now-confused. but not giving me a straight answer is not fair for me or for the relationship - ive tried to talk to him twice but got no straight answer. but he seems normal when we're together and sometimes sends me messages - though he is definitely not emotionally connected (meaning, no iloveyous or any mushy stuff) - just the usual hi's and hello's? is he just waiting for me to break it up? or he really cant figure out an answer because of the unemployed situation? he's 23 and im 28... we are having some problems with the relationship which we're trying to fix but i cant fix it when i dont know if he wants space or not. when im making the efforts to visit/talk to him he seems happy/appreciative but still remains emotionally disconnected. HELP!

I had a strong suspicion about him, and out of the blue I told my friends I thought my bf was into Satanism, I don't know why I thought that in the first place...he's the nicest guy ever. Yesterday he announced that he is into that stuff. Now I'm totally freaked out.

Can anyone tell me what's going on here?
