Singles & Dating - 30 January 2007

A coworker sent me an email that I was too weird for him to be friends with because I was sending him mixed signals. We had been close for awhile and I told him it was best that we ignore each other so I can get over my crush on him since he already has a gf. Anyway during all of this, he asked me if I wanted to hook up with him, of course I said yes, since I liked him.
Then I called him a dog via text since he jerked my feelings around and wrote a letter apologizing to him. This is what provoked him to ignore me for the past month. Yesterday, he looked at me like he wanted to say hello and I emailed him asking hihim if we could just treat each other like coworkers and say hello. He emailed me back saying that I was too weird to be his friend and that we should just continue ignoring each other for both his and my sake and that i was wrong for wanting to hook up with him since he already has a gf. I didn't respond back to him, since he asked me not to. But then he got mad. ??

she has had past drugs problems but is clean now , but occasionally have mental flashbacks ( small halcinations lasting only seconds)

she is also shy, has had a bad past, and has some emotional issues..and self esteem issues, she puts herself down alot and feels she isnt good enough
Can be kind of distant when i talk to her sometimes its easy to see that she is thinking of something completely off subject or maybe talking to herself in her head..she has had past depression problems, past anxiety problems, past relationship problems

but she is interesting , spiritual , beautiful , sweet, down to earth, funny

I really like her and am going to continue to see her, but i am curious of your opinions. .

would you date someone like this?
would you marry someone like this?
could you trust someone like this?
could you fall in love with someone like this?

would you take an interest on this sort of person or would you walk away from the beginning?

i am 17 years old and i have ALL (Acute Lumatic Leukemia) and yes, i know that there are more things to life than dating, but damn it....i like boys!! lol but is there a chance that having cancer, doing chemo, loosing my hair, and getting sick is scarring away boys and making me hard to date?

i just dont know but i cant let his past GO. my fiance that is.
he was sexually active and i have always be self coutiouse, meaning i had no or little sex.
he on the other hand was and i mean was very sexually active
it bothers me, to the point that i cant have sex with him, he makes me sick sometimes, i often think that he has diseases.
i always through his past in his face and he hates it.
i really dont know whats wrong with me, i cant bring myself to be kind to him, am i selfish, rude, ignorent, or do i just really hate him.
and think that i love him.
i have never been so confussed in my life, i just cant tell.
we have been together for awhile and ever since we met it always bothered me, i thought id get over it coz it was new, now since then its been nothing but fights and hurtful words

random question but interested to hear your views..i know some people who are together for years before moving in together and i know others who after a couple of months move in with one another!!

Wouldn't they want somebody less educated than themselves? I am marrying a girl from Thailand with an 8th grade education. I have a bachelors degree. She is defintely better wife material than these western women with their 'degrees'. I think marrying a foreign wife who is way less educated than you are is the way to go. They'll have much less incentive to divorce because they don't have any silly career 'ideas' and they'll see you as the sole provider. But I'm confused as to why some western men say that they want educated women. They don't make any sense. Why would an educated woman want to marry at all? There is no economic incentive and there is a higher risk of divorce. So why do these new age type softy western men say these things?

I have an ex girlfriend that I still want to be friends with. We dated for almost a year and we were really close. She always says she wants to be friends, but if I talk to her normal and nice, she always is realllly mean to me and basically calls me an idiot. Why is this? Should I just ignore her? I got mad at one of my friends only because she said we'd hang out and then she never calls me or answers my phone calls and I realize I wont see her as much as before she got her boyfriend but I feel like she cut me out of her life.
