You can be guaranteed that he will beat you. It's only a matter of time.

Well he could of changed and in that case congrats but my advice is to still be cautious. If this guy has struck women be4 he could do it again. Just be careful and watch out for yourself. You especially don't want to have children with this man if he is abusive cause they will more than likely get hurt too. Just slow down and think about your feelings and talk to this man about what your thinking so maybe you can solve and worries or concerns you may have. Good Luck!

Even though you have been with him for a year the relationship is still young. My first, third and forth boyfriends were abusive. With my forth boyfriend we never argued the relationship was good until one day he turned into a beast, the least little argument or anything and he would flip and when i tried to leave the relationship that's when the fights got more, i had to leave the country. So if i was in your shoe i would be very careful. Test the water before you get in. I cannot tell you don't marry him but be careful.

If he is in AA and finished with drinking there is a chance he is okay. If he still drinks run for your life. Year or no year, he will hit you if he has hit others.

A man who is abusive never changes. He may act like it for a while until he's sure you trust him. Trust me. He hasn't changed. It's just an act.

ummmm yeh....history has a tendency of repeating itself.....once he marries you he will think he has con trol over you and then he'll start hitting you and you will have nowhere to run because it will be all your fault for not being cautious enough in this situation.

He has been able to hide his dark side from you for a long time. But will he be able to hide it for the rest of his life? Are you willing to take that chance?
