I'm having so much fun with my friends and I hang around with a lot of boys and some girls.I like boys best cause they don't tell lies and don't talk back(as much as girls),but I'm still not sure what do they see me like? A friend or a possible gf?

I have plenty of mates who are female and male mates. Although I usually have problems trying to be friends with girls since they always kinda wanted more and keep being shy because of it.

Guys usually sees female mates as mates but with less common interests e.g. don't like football, drink less etc. They have to be more careful around them as oppose to being more carefree.

Nevertheless it is possible to be mates with the opposite gender. However, a girl and a guy getting together is not out of the ordinary or uncommon.

I know what you mean. All of my friends are guys. They have all asked me out...that's how most of us met. I am attracted to a lot of them and there are ocassional flirting going around but it's just natural instict in certain given situations. I believe that there is a natural attraction between straight men and women that eventually gets stronger beyond frienship. Usually it does not get strong enough to generate a bf/gf relationship. I believe that men make the most wonderful friends and try not to ruin it by being too curious about how they feel about you. Does it really matter? If there is someone you like more than a friend then speak to him. Tell him how you feel and ask him how he feels about you.

If you're just looking to see how many guys are interested in you, try to start up a conversation about the types of girls they would date or have dated and ask them, jokingly, if they wood ever date a girl like you. And there u have it.

I have more male friends than female friends and have been friends with them for over twenty years some longer some shorter, you will know naturally who is a friend and who is after more.Flirt with those who flirt with you, have fun with those who are your friend but don't ever go any further with someone who is a friend cause it will never be the same again

Absolutely. I am a 19 year old girl, and my best friend for years and years and YEARS has been a boy named Scott. (He's 22) We're way closer than any girl friend I ever had. I can tell him anything. Boys don't gossip like girls do, they don't backstab, and they are more honest. I'd choose one guy friend over a thousand girl friends.

Some of them might see you as a potential girlfriend, but probably not all of them... I've had guy friends all of my life b/c they're less drama and I just get along with them better.. and my best friend is a guy and he likes me just as a friend.. we've been friends for years.. I guess you'll just have to weed out the ones that want you as more than a friend...

yes. my two best ex-school friends of whom i've known for over 13 years, since school are male and yes we still keep in contact with each other. it is possible to have a purely platonic relationship- eg, relationship where a) no sex is involved and b) you're not physically or sexually attracted to a guy. besides, i don't see why you cannot continue your friendship with guys, in the same way as with girls. and plus you can have female AND male friends

to be honest guys are like girls we like to hang out too.
it's nice when someone thinks your attractive .
it's great you have guy and girl friends but not all boys tell the truth as you get older i'm 22 guys tell you what they think u want to hear i don't really like that .
honesty is so under rated without hurting someones feeling lol.
if they see you as a possible girlfriend is that such a bad thing.
lol

Boys can be friends too, just dont make any moves and if they do just say we're great friends, lets not ruin it and if thats not good enough for them then dump em! dont forget men can be just as bitchy as women!
