well if you are only interested in coffee,then no reason to fear.just go and tell him.noone would mind a cup of hot coffee,that also free.
but if you in other words trying to propose him,then you can opt diffrent things.like start looking at guy and smiling a bit,show him that you are looking for him.the moment you try this (provided he is also interested in you)he himself will come and talk to you.if he is also shy just like you.then god help you both
