Hey, I've been there, been out with some guy from school, and am scared to tell the parents, not sure what they will think, or do, whether they will be happy for you, or whether they will say that you shouldnt have a bf. All I can say is...they're going to find one way or another, and they will honestly be happier if you were to tell them first before they find out some other way. They may be worried that this guy will come between your school work, but if you prove that he doesnt...and if he truly makes you happy..then they will be there to support you. Just always remember...family is always there, when no one else is. Just tell them...it wont be as bad as you think it will

You don't say how old you are but in High School I am going to wager a guess that you are at least 15. Tell your parents that you really like this boy and would like to go out on a date with him. Make the first date chaperoned by parents, I know it is a drag but it will show them you can be trusted to do what is right.

Be honest and tell them. That's better than having them come to you about it. Don't be offended if they don't approve. It's a parents job to look out for their kids. Most likely they'll be proud of you for coming forward right away which should be in your favor.

just tell them. there going to find out eventually. so why not just tell them straight forward. its better for you to tell them right away then keeping it from them and having them finding out themselves. they probably know anyway. so just do it
