I am 4 foot 8 inches and looking to grow a couple of inches in a couple of weeks. My girlfriend is 5 foot 7 inches and is giving me an ultamatum that if I can't get any taller, she will leave me.

If it was possible to become a few inches taller in a couple of weeks, wouldn't all guys use this method? So no, you can't make yourself taller. Your girlfriend sounds very stupid for thinking her boyfriend can grow a few inches in a couple of weeks. If your height is such an obstacle to her, why is she with you in the first place?

She doesn't sound like a very nice person to give you an ultimatum like that. If someone told me something of that sort, I would break up with them immediately. You cannot control your growth unless you're using some very dangerous medication or sugery, only under doctor supervision.
Your girlfriend sounds very superficial and probably insecure with herself or she wouldn't say something like that, which is completely IMPOSSIBLE!!
She is probably under peer pressure about your height difference. I am 6'3 (yes, I know - very tall for a female) and have always had pressure from people to date guys taller than me, but I actually prefer shorter men. She is probably too young or just not willing to know how to stand up for herself and look at your positive qualities and quit being so superficial.
You shouldn't waste your time with someone like her, you deserve better!!

An age old question, my friend! Unfortunately, the same answer prevails--you can't make yourself taller!
You could buy shoes with thick soles to appear a little taller, but usually women do that by wearing heels.
If your girl doesn't like being taller than you, then it wasn't meant to be! She should like you no matter how tall you are. Obviously, she is bothered by it, and you should be too. Forget her and her ridiculous ultimatums!

drink lots of milk or failing that you can get your legs professionally broken and reset to make you taller;
but then your legs might be too tall for your torso
