Singles & Dating - 9 January 2007

Recently my boyfriend has been acting really strange lately. He hasn't been himself. He's been really rude to me, and embarasses me in front of most of my friends and my classmates. He's never been this mean...and...he's been very violent, and has been punching/slapping me, he says he's playing, but he hits like he means it (like he's angry.). I feel that he's been getting aggravated with me...but...I'm not sure...I haven't done anything wrong...He's been all angry ever he told me he misses hanging out with his friends, since he spends way too much time with me. I told him that he could hang out with them if he wanted, I never told him he couldn't. And so...about an hour ago he was crying on the phone, asking why I didn't want to be with him, because he said that -I- told him that I wanted to give him space. I never said that...I just said that he could hang out with his friends if he wanted....and that I'd just hang with myself...What's happening to him? Please help...

for the past week, wheni look @ him hes looking at me first
he doesnt even look at my arms or body he stares into my eyes and he smiles whithout knowing it....
what is he trying to say???

I believe that those are very powerful words that should only be used sparingly so that its meaning is not diluted or made insignificant. Which is why I only tell my girl that I love her on special occasions, like anniversaries (first date, first kiss, first love making, etc...), valentines day, christmas and new years, and birthdays.

I show her I love her everyday by doing little things for her here and there that perhaps she doesn't even notice (like bringing her breakfast in the morning when she's running late cause I know she doesn't eat when she oversleeps, then I call her office to let them know that she might be a few minutes late, things like that).

Anyway she says I don't say I love you enough, and I explain to her why. But she wants me to say it more.

I don't know but I've seen some couples that say I love you to each other like every 5 minutes, and it makes me sick. Its like they don't even mean it.

Am I wrong?

Here's the story. I met this guy who i really really like. We got together for about 2 weeks. Everything was going well until recently, he found out that he is going off to America in August. Now my question is, should i continue to stay with him til he leaves and worry about getting hurt later, or should i leave and suffer the pain now. The problem i'm having now is that when i don't see him, i feel so sad but when i'm with him, i'm happy. what do i do?

One of my friends and i are very very close. I really really like him alot and i told him how i feel, and he said he loves me. He told me today that he is dating someone. I feel heartbroken and i don't know what to do, i really really like him and we are very close, but the thing is, how can he say that he loves me and go and date someone??? I feel like i'm never going to be good enough for any guy, i just wish someone who says they love me actually mean it. It seems like the nicer a guy gets, the more girls pull away.

I have a close friend from class. She has 2 groups of friends: "homies" who are like brothers to her and "**** buddies". Why would she want guys who are so worthless? It can't be because of so many reasons that I hear.

We have noticed that we have a lot in common. She knows that I am somewhat "kinky" and she knows I can protect her from anyone or anything: I'm 5ft. 11in. tall, I weigh 227lbs., and I can bench-press 200lbs. Did I mention that I look like Russel Crowe in 'Gladiator'?

I am kind of emotional and really stupid person...I loved a girl couldn't propose her when I was near to her. After that I proposed her...through email.Girl even doesn't know me very well.I sent all the details...and all the possible proofs that I am not doing any fun with her...its almost one and half year gone...I wanted to meet her but she refused.

One day I called her..she was extremely angry to me...said me useless, most stupid person ever seen in life..and many more.
I know she is very right in her place....I deserve shouting....now she is sad I think she must be thinking why she shouted on me...blah blah.

Even I have true feelings for her..but all the problems created because of my stupidities..

Now any body can suggest me..how can I correct my mistakes and stupidities?

Lately I just keep hearing/reading stuff about eyes, it just keeps popping up in a romantic connotation when a guy knows the colour of a girl's eyes. I never really thought about it before, but is that a big deal? What do you think it would mean if he DID know the colour of her eyes? Just wondering :)

I got out of a very bad relationship, praying for someone to truly love me and want to give me the world. I found him, but I feel no real passion for him. I don't need craziness or drama.. I know how unhealthy that is. I just am confused how if someone is exactly what I want and who I have prayed for, how can I not be attracted? He is what every woman would dream of... but not me. Everything is perfect but our intimacy. I avoid it. We are the best of friends, I know friendship is what makes relationships last but there has to be some sort of fire. Can you obtain fire? In all other relationships I have been very sexual. I just don't want to feel like the only way i feel stimulated is through unhealthy relationships. We have talked and he is patient and caring. I just want to love him and desire him the way he does me. I am scared that I would regret letting him go. He is so wonderful to me and I feel like there is something wrong with me!

Can somebody please give me a unique idea on what to do or get for my g/f of 8 years this Valentine's Day? I don't want the run-of-the-mill, stereotyping answer like "take her to a nice restaurant", or "buy her a diamond ring", etc. coz frankly, I'm REALLY on a budget. Just somebody in college... an aquaintance, not exactly real friends... haven't said hi to him for a few months even when face to face with him because of some awkward stuff in school, but those akward things've been resolved now after a trouble maker dropped out of my college. I want to say hi now. Probably he doesn't care if I do, but it breaks my heart to give somebody the cold shoulder on purpose. Should I apologise to him for being unfriendly\rude or etc? Will he think that I'm daft or strange if I apologise? Any suggestion how to apologise? It will be strange if I suddenly start saying hi again won't it so I should apologise first? There is somebody who I have loved for years. We used to be best ffriends but something happened and our friendship ended and now he is in and out of my life. He is stubborn as hell, and lately I think that he's trying to come back in my life, he is starting to hang out with my friends (whom he doesnt like, might i add) and talk to me at parties like nothing is wrong.
