Lately I just keep hearing/reading stuff about eyes, it just keeps popping up in a romantic connotation when a guy knows the colour of a girl's eyes. I never really thought about it before, but is that a big deal? What do you think it would mean if he DID know the colour of her eyes? Just wondering :)

She wants to know if yu are looking at her when yu talk to her or at her chest. If yu like her for her mind or her body. She wants to know if yu like her for herself or mostly just for sex. Yes all of this matters.

Actually, in my experience it's the girls that are more focused on this. Usually she'll use this to test the guy to see how much attention he's really paying to her. If they've been dating for 2 months and he doesn't know what color eyes she has, it may mean that he's really not that into her.

Knowing this, a guy will often use this against the girl. Saying what a beautiful blue shade her eyes have... He's just trying to convince her that he's more interested in her as a person then a possible sex partner. Unfortunately it's true that many jerks try to use this sort of technique.

It is true that many people really do care what color your eyes are. That's why if you go check out any dating site you'll see that they let you weed people out based on eye color. But I don't really see what the big deal is anyway. For crying out loud, they even have colored contacts now. What difference does it make?

the eyes are what people zero in on when they look at each other, so if a guy notices a girl's eyes, it shows that he REALLY notices her and takes time to see everything

in the end, it's not that big of a deal if he doesn't know, but I'd love to know that the guy I'm with knows all the colors in my eyes, even if my eyes appear to be just brown. I'd want him to notice the bits of green and yellow that make them actually hazel, not just brown.

It means that he's paying attention when he talks to her. He's not just checking out her legs or her butt or her chest - he's actually looking into her eyes and not fakin' it, because he's looked long enough or closely enough to be able to see her eye color.

And the fact that he remembers her eye color means that he cares enough to know that fact or to memorize it.

People like to feel as if others are actually listening and really paying attention to them.

I think it's because if he noticed the color of your eyes then he was really paying attention to you. All the little details about you. It's a nice quality in anyone.

Don't know. However I have heard many people saying that women with dark color eyes are the most faithful. Take if for what's its worth, atleast for me it doesn't matter.

It's because some douchebag ex-girlfriend said in the heat of an arguement..."you don't even know the color of my eyes".

And its usually the dumb chick that wears colored lenses.

Usually when a woman asks her loved one if he knows the color of his eyes it is because she is trying to deterimine if he is really paying attention to her.

Just how much attention you pay the person. "Eyes are the window to the soul."
