Can somebody please give me a unique idea on what to do or get for my g/f of 8 years this Valentine's Day? I don't want the run-of-the-mill, stereotyping answer like "take her to a nice restaurant", or "buy her a diamond ring", etc. coz frankly, I'm REALLY on a budget. Girls, what's the simplest thing that your man can do (or get) for you that'll brighten up your love for him even more that night? We've done it all before for the past 7 Valentine's, X-Mas, Birthday, etc. already (like dinner, buying small gifts like lingerie, chocolate, small jewelries, etc.) This time, I need something simple, yet unique and outrageous, if possible. Thanx in advance.

8 years, it is a long time love story. You must love her very much, time can prove it. So I think you need something to express your true love to your real soul mate. I found some silver bracelets are really amazing. The one named "butterfly loves flowers forever" is best for this special day.

8 years...wow. I'm amazed. Here's something that is really nice that I thought was the cutest thing ever.

You can go to the dollar store and buy little packets of graffiti type things. Put them in a nicely decorated box (that you decorate yourself) and cut up little pieces of paper. On the little pieces of paper, write what you love about your lovely chick. Then fold up the little pieces of paper, and put and little gift in there. Something that reminds you of her, or something that is like an insider between you both.

About the graffiti... you can find little shiny hearts that go *perfectly* for that. Good luck and Happy Early Valentines!! <3

How about getting her some Valentine wine glass charms? I would suggest this as a side gift along with something else. Wine Glass Gems - www.wineglassgems.com has some cute ones.
