I believe that those are very powerful words that should only be used sparingly so that its meaning is not diluted or made insignificant. Which is why I only tell my girl that I love her on special occasions, like anniversaries (first date, first kiss, first love making, etc...), valentines day, christmas and new years, and birthdays.

I show her I love her everyday by doing little things for her here and there that perhaps she doesn't even notice (like bringing her breakfast in the morning when she's running late cause I know she doesn't eat when she oversleeps, then I call her office to let them know that she might be a few minutes late, things like that).

Anyway she says I don't say I love you enough, and I explain to her why. But she wants me to say it more.

I don't know but I've seen some couples that say I love you to each other like every 5 minutes, and it makes me sick. Its like they don't even mean it.

Am I wrong?

omg, you're amazing! Don't change. Your girl should completely respect that. It wouldn't hurt saying you love her maybe a lil more, but only to let her know you really do care. <3

Personally, I completely agree with your standpoint. However, being a woman, I understand the emotional cravings that we females must endure. We eat, drink, and BREATHE emotion. At least satisfy her by saying it once a day. These are words that we really do love to hear. It never gets old.

i dont think your wrong at all....girls just like to hear it alot...but honestly we also love those little things guys do for us..like putting gas in our car so we dont run out and making sure there is enough milk left over for our coffee in the morning...girls like a little bit of both worlds though the verbal and the nonverbal...you could just say it a few more times enough to satisfy her but not to much that you feel like you have to remind her that you lobe her

some how, no cause i also think saying those words must be with real meaning and not just to say them to please or anything like that, if she still insists well may be she feels insecure and u you both truly love each other, i guess u wouldn't mind saying it all the time than to bring misunderstandings between u. don't u think?

Women like to hear it. I tell my girlfriend I love her every day. It costs me nothing, it makes her feel good and it's true. Why is that so hard?
