Just following on from a previous question really. Can friendship between a woman and a man be non-sexual even is you go on holiday together.

I had a best friend (his name's Tyler) for quite a long time. I started liking him and he liked me so Tyler asked me out and I said yes. I was completely perfect, we were both very happy, but for one thing: my mom thinks I'm too young to date, so I couldn't tell her. He and I could hang out together at school and with other friends in a group, but even that we had to hide from my mom. However, we were still perfect, always thinking about each other and talking on the internet when we were apart. Last night, he IM'd me and said that this relationship isn't working. He broke up with me, saying that since my mom didn't want me with him, there was no real relationship, since we couldn't spend time together. He says he truly cares about me and still likes me, but that there's no point in being together. He said we'd just be friends, and I had to agree. Now, though, I don't know what to do. Do I forget this ever happened? My mom is hopeless, but I love Tyler... What do I do?

Want to start the year how I mean to carry on; if I go to my fav lesbian bar I am bound to met up with a nice babe and (basically) get laid. If I go to a straight bar I MIGHT met a nice guy and may get his phone number. (Don't go home with men until I've known him for a good while - not safe)
As I'm thinking about trying to find a man (settling down etc) should I go for the long haul?

Is it dorky to be 18 and still be a virgin? It seems like everybody my age and younger is having sex, and I'm kind of feeling left out. problem is that I'm gay and don't really know any other gay people my age in my town so I can't really have a boyfriend.

If you found out someone was still a virgin, would you think they were a nerd or something?

i fell in love once. about 6 months ago with a guy that i spent all my time with.we knew each other inside and out. then one day he told me he found another and i lost my love for everyone. i have tried going out with other people. like in my last question. i dont diss on guys for being virgins and living with parents. i encourage them to do better. they just dont listen to me. ask all my firends they will tell you i have been on my boyfriends cases to try and do better. but ever since i lost my ex, i can't trust anyone anymore. i want to try and fall in love again,but im scared i will ruin it like i did my last boyfrined. He said he just wanted to be friends with benefits, which I am fine with, honestly, but I'm just trying to figure out if his actions are saying it's more. He acted jealous when my ex-bf called and tried to talk me out of getting back together with him when I said I might, he drove 100 miles to see me, spent the night and cuddled the whole time, he breaks plans with his friends to be with me, when I was at his house he wanted me to sleep over and when I wanted to go he was practically clinging on to me to keep me from going, we hang out together in public, and he kisses me at random times, even when he's not turned on or doing foreplay, and we talk a lot and watch movies together and stuff like that. Do people really act this way with their FWB??? Do you think he has feelings for me?

I've known "Bill" for about 6years. Bill dated my friends but never me so he & I became close platonic friends. About 3 years ago, when we left college, we started hanging out regularly. We were always flirting with each other but *nothing* phyiscal ever happened. (I have some intimacy issues b/c of previous abuse.)
This time last year we were calling every day, visiting monthly - saying "I love you", etc. All "just good friends."
In April, we traveled together - got a hotel room & stayed in the same bed. He got VERY handsy in bed & I ignored it. I was ok with being MORE than friends, just wanted him to talk about it first to know it wasn't just a fling.
After that trip, he's been distant. Doesn't call. I tried calling & talking to him. I've made it clear that I was ok with us being more than friends. But he still won't talk!
After 6 years, I don't want to just walk away!
He also has $300 worth of my horse supplies that I need.

What to do? Call 1 more time & ask for my stuff?

Okay, my kid sister is in love with a 20 year old guy and she is nothing but 15 years old!! And the guy is in love with her i dont know what to tell her....????? I just dont know what to say or do.........i dont know it to let her keep talking to him so she want hate me....or maybe it's okay there just 5 years apart....and plus what's wrong with older and younger relationships? We weren't together for very long. Everything was perfect in my eyes, and I told myself over and over I wouldn't let this one get away from me. I thought I might finally have those perfect feelings...We had practically done everyhting there is to do in this relationship except say the "L" word. A week in she says we can't be together for a number of reasons. 1) I was leaving for college again. 2) She just found out she has cancer. 3) My last relationship was bad, and someone had to tell her about it...So, heres how I broke it down. This girl is what takes for me to find a local college. I want to be there with her while she's sick. I absolutely can't leave her during that. My last relationship is just a part of who I am. She says she still really cares about me, but the relarionship wont work until some of these things are cleared. Should I work harder for the relationship? Or accept that its over.? Oh and she wants me to call her later. Is that even a good idea?

This guy is really nice and really sweet, he makes lots of money,he is fun and funny he is almost perfect except one problem tha bothers me is he is not attractive he is everything im NOT phisically attracted to...now i just met him and i really lovee his personality but he i just ugly..and that bothers me sotimes do you think if im not phiscally attracted to him i shouldnt let him be my boyfriend or do you think i should?

I hooked up with my b/f's friend. Are the chances higher he will find out because they are best friends?? What do I do??
Are they higher than if it was just another guy, not his friend??
Is his friend just gonna flat out tell him??Would it be better if I never even flirt with his friend again and no one finds out?? Would he rather hear it from me or his best friend??
