Ok so the guy i like called me about 30 min ago and i didn't answer. I really want to talk to him but whenever we are on the phone together the conversation dies quickly. how do i keep the conversation going?

First off answer the phone when he calls. I mean if you don't he'll think your not interested in him. Just find out somethings he's interested in and tell him of the things you are interested in. Maybe a band or music you like to listen to, or sports, or computer games etc. You have to talk to find out what he's into just as for him to know what you like. Then you can find things to talk about to each other. good luck to you. ;o)

best way to keep a conversation going is ask questions on things which this guy really likes

Maybe you are not a phone person. Ask him out on a date. lf you have nothing to talk about in the beginning then go to a movie. Soon you will discover if he is for you or not and if at all you have anything in common or not.

start by answering the phone.
second--
you can talk about the simple stuff.
[how your day went, his day went, whatever.]
you can tell him sething funny that might've happened
at work.../school/something that happened during the
holidays, anything, jsut to see if you
can get a laugh out of him.
ask him what he's doing for new years.
if you guys can make plans, Im sure you wont be on the
phone with eachother when the clock hits 12.

Well, at first ,you may start answering your phone or you won't get the chance to talk to him anyway. So just pick up the phone. You'll fnd something to talk about, ask him for a favor, or ask him out

this may sound cheesy, but write down points that you wanna say in a conversation. Also when somethings brouhgt up you should try and expand upon it by telling a story or something.

depending on how much you know about him, the best way to keep a conversation going is to talk about his intrests or intrests that you share.
