Singles & Dating - 1 December 2006

Hi all.

My previous question a few days ago was about a shadowbox i was thinking of giving my boyfriend for xmas (Custom made, to display his MANY track medals.)

Is this worth it? We're both 18 but hes pretty into that stuff, esp. displaying his things. I also need help getting an idea on how to get them from him. I might just tell him i need them and let him wonder.

Any other gift ideas to go with it? Thanks so much guys for your input! Really though, i just wanna know if its still a good idea and whatnot. I just wanna hear people's opinions. Thanks again guys.

i have been talking to this guy for a couple of days now, i really like him...but a day a go, i got kind of upset and kind of hung up him, it was more like a dry good bye like okay bye and click..he was suppose to call me back that night but he didn't so i called him the next morning and asked what happened and he said he felt asleep ( he has a very demanding job) i asked if things were cool and he said yeah, he text me later that day (yesterday) confirming our date (1st) saying that we would be going to bj's at 9:30 to celebrate his buddys b-day...i asked if he would be picking me or if he wanted me to meet him 1/2 way there ( we live about 1/2 hr apart) he text back and said that it was up to me, i replied back and said that i would let him know when he called me in the nite. he didn't call.....does that mean that our date is not going to happen or will he call today? why would he confirm our date but not call back that nite to arrange it? should i call him and ask? guys help!

hello everyone.i am a member of yahoo answers for the past 2 months and the 'Singles and Dating'is my favourite section.i read almost all the quesions and answer some of them.guys in this section ask a variety of questions like 'how do i propose to a girl?','how to impress/attract a girl towards me?','how do i tell a girl that i like her and have feelings for her?'etc.People from all over the world answer these questions and frankly some answers are really good.however i feel this takes away the naturality and originality.look i am not saying answering questions is wrong but i feel people who ask questions should try their best to make their own solutions and turn to yahoo answers only when their effort is in vain. otherwise we might have a situation when a guy feels 'ok i like this girl,now let me ask people from yahoo answers how to woo her' so do u guys agree when i feel we should apply our natural instincts in dealing with situations and take yahoo answers help when unsuccessful.

There's this guy I work with who is great. He's so sweet and I catch him from time to time looking at me. Well, I don't want a relationship right now, all I want is sex. I think he wants it too. I feel also that eventually something else could come of it, but I'm not sure. Should I go ahead and approach him, or wait for him to come to me? Another thing is that whole sexual harassment thing. I met this guy two months ago and we can talk for hours on the phone. We have much in common and I see a strong relationship in the future. I am starting to care deeply for him. I sense he has some insecurtiy issues. He always tells me to call him and never takes charge in any situation. We have much in common but the only times he seems open with me is when we drink alcohol and that is all we have ever done together is me basically coming over a getting waisted is our routine and I want to do other things but I am not sure he is ready or if he wants to. He said he loved me one night and then quickly corrected himself that he cares for me very much but he said this when drunk. I did not say anything and since then he has been acting standoffish. I used to date someone that was involved with smoking pot occasionaly. I never like pot but I looked at it as like drinking occasionly. He had just gotten out of a relationship so I thought he would do it to relieve stress. So I let him and I wanted him to like like me so I did it occasionly with him. (since his ex did it all the time with him)
Then....after 3 months it seemed that was all he LOVED to do. Every day look foward to it. Before work, after work (sports, gymnastics, instructor), before going to eat at a restaurant, always had a little bit in a jar in his car so that he could do it while driving -OH and smoking up before going into a movie theater. I felt like everytime I talked to him about cutting down he never wanted to compromise. I told him I can not do it and broke it off. He made me feel guilty like I was suppose to help him cut down. Was he doing it too much? Should I have helped him? He would not listen and wanted to do it more!

ok, my bf only had one GF prior to me, she was maybe a B cup. now he's got me, we've been together for 3.5+ years, i'm lucky if i make it to an A cup in some brands. but when he's looking at porn he looks at really large breasted girls. is that what he really likes? did he just settle for us little boobed girls cause he's really shy and didnt think he could do better? it just makes me really upset thinking he finds that attractive and possibly not me :(
