i have been talking to this guy for a couple of days now, i really like him...but a day a go, i got kind of upset and kind of hung up him, it was more like a dry good bye like okay bye and click..he was suppose to call me back that night but he didn't so i called him the next morning and asked what happened and he said he felt asleep ( he has a very demanding job) i asked if things were cool and he said yeah, he text me later that day (yesterday) confirming our date (1st) saying that we would be going to bj's at 9:30 to celebrate his buddys b-day...i asked if he would be picking me or if he wanted me to meet him 1/2 way there ( we live about 1/2 hr apart) he text back and said that it was up to me, i replied back and said that i would let him know when he called me in the nite. he didn't call.....does that mean that our date is not going to happen or will he call today? why would he confirm our date but not call back that nite to arrange it? should i call him and ask? guys help!

If he took the time out to tell you that the date was still on then everything is still cool. I think your worrying yourself over the smallest things here. Just because he doesn't call right back or call when he says he will doesn't mean things are not good. You said this guy has a demanding job so if you know that then you could also understand that maybe he's busy or maybe he just got side tracked, or he's tired. A lot of people don't confirm things, they just figure you know what the deal is. You have to understand that everybody is different. I will tell you this though, if you don't calm yourself and just be cool about things your going to run this man away. You don't want to come off as if your pushy or demanding. If I were you I would just call him and ask him. It's really as simple as that.

I think he'll call today, so just relax. Some guys are not into confirming things 100 times over. I mean they just figure you said you'd be doing this and that you're still on. I guess if he doesn't call and it's getting closer to the time then call to confirm to put your worries at rest!

Here's the deal. If you really like him, then give him a call about how the pickup situation is going to be handled.
It could be one of two things. He could be this forgetful guy or he could be testing you. He might be trying to gauge your interest level in him. If you call HIM then it shows that you really wanted to go with him. If you don't call him it shows you didn't have all that much interest in him.
So the choice is up to you.
