Hell no!!! The other person is going to have questions, like "why" do it face to face you owe them at least that much respect.

How serious is she about the relationship?

If she's crazy about you, you have to do it in person, preferably in a public setting like a restaurant where she can't throw a fit (or throw things at you.) You could even arrange to arrive in separate cars if you think she'll go bonkers.

But if there's no chemistry for either of you, an email breakup is okay. It's painless and quick.

The more she cares, the more respectful of her feelings you need to be.

In my opinion, no. The right thing to do would be to talk face to face or at least call them over the phone. Sending an email is a cop-out.

If you are going to break up with someone, at least be respectful enough to call and tell the person instead of an email.

That would just be rude. I think you should just tell her to her face what can go wrong?? She will respect you a lot more than if you told her on the phone or thru an email. Plus it will show that you at least have a little respect for her.

i think its acceptable if the relationship isnt to intamate or serious....i also think its acceptable if you think that she would break up with you the same way........... everyone is opinionated....You know the girl better than we do and you know how much you care about her and how much a break-up e-mail might hurt her........ and if it would hurt her...would you care? Telling a girl in person is never what you want to do but its always better....and giving a reason helps the situation alot instead of just saying "its over"

Yes it's acceptable. For me, that makes no difference, as long as you became man enough to put an end to something you feel wouldn't work anymore. Whichever way you chose either by e-mail or in person, the bottom line will be the same, you become brave enough.

it up to you but if i was a girl i wouldn't be please and what if you send her the email and she does not look at her emails, then she sees you in the street thinking you are still together you might not want to do it by talking on the phone but i would say it over and
then send her an email explaining why
hope i helped

SO how old are you 7, 8 9, 12, 14, 16, 17. Nope it's never right to break up with a woman thru e-mails, phones, friends, notes or anyother way. Be a man's man and go tell her to her face. Not unless your scared, I bet tht's it your scared she might whip your ***. Man now that's funny. Just be a man and go tell her to her face, one on one.

Yes. That isn't a long relationship although it would be nice to do it over the phone if you don't want to do in person. Wouldn't send a text message though for sure.

No. Only people who dont have balls send emails because they dont have the guts to break up with them face to face which shows a sign of weakness. i think everyone hates those ppl who break up with ppl over the phone/text/email/aim because if they have the balls to break up with them, do it to their face. only immature people text/call/email because they cant handle being a man/woman and being mature about it.
