Singles & Dating - 13 November 2006

Please help me, I have tried to be patient and understanding, but I don't see why they still need to talk, they have no kids. It also makes me nervous, because she broke up with him. Everytime he gets mad at me, he runs to her, and he has lied to me 3 times about hanging out with her. He treats me really well, but please tell me this is not normal. He always tells me that I need to get over her, and he thinks it is wrong of me to ask them to stop being friends. But it is uncomfortable, when we moved into our new place, she came over to see it. When he crashed his car, he called her, not me. I know I am being stupid, but sometimes you just need to hear it from other people. He thinks she is different and I need to be understanding that she is just a friend, but really, is this normal, should I leave?

Well, here's my story. One of my friends is dating this one girl. But, for some reason, he keeps telling me that she's telling him she wants me. The worst part, I'm too shy to talk to her to get the story validated. Could someone give me some tips? Because, I don't buy the story for one millisecond. How do I get up to her without public embarrasment

this guy im dateing seems shy around girls but all his friends are them teenage boy that all they talk about is sex all they want is sex and always flirts with girls but with my boyfriend its different because he never kisses me or hugs me he don't even flirt with me we talk quiet a lot and i seem to get realli jelous over little thing like when he lent his scarf to a girl ect please help xxxxxx

OK here is my situation. There is this guy who I have had a crush on for a long time. I thought that I was over him.... but I definatly am not now. He has a girlfriend now so I know there is no possibility that he could like me back. I want to stop liking him but I can't. He is a good friend that I see every day so I do not want to avoid him and I still want to be friends. I like to hang out with him and be friends but I just can't stop liking him. Please dont tell me I will just get over it. I have been trying for a year but I still keep liking him!! I try to stop liking him and then we will be hanging out or whatever and I start to like him all over again. My gf is awesome. I love her completely (and we are both out of college) but both of us have only had a couple of serious relationships. Ours was so fantastic to start off with, went great for a few months, then she started getting distant. We talked about it and she said it always went like this w/ her relationships. It's not going to end like that this time if I have anything to say about it. She's too great to let go. Anyways, during the talk, she said she had been to a counselor before, but never stuck w/ it. Obviously, I assume this has something to do w/ our present situation, namely her reluctance to commit to us. Can I ask what she saw the counsellor for? How do I bring it back up?

I'd like to get to some of the underlying causes here, not pass judgment. But it seems like if a person uses birth control they would not get pregnant.
So, why do we have so many abortions here in the U.S? Why not use birth control?

Ok, so here's the situation...I dated this girl, let's call her Susy, a year and a half ago. I had known Susy for a few years before this and we were friends. We went out for not too long (a week or so) and I ended up breaking up with her because I would be in HighSchool while she was still in Junior high. Over the next year and a half we still remained friends and talked often but I still liked her and wasn't sure if she knew it.

Just the other day I confessed to her saying that I still liked her and she responded by saying that she feels bad but I had her before and broke her heart. I'm pretty sure that answer means that she doesn't like me anymore...

There is a guy in my school that I like and his name is John. He called me ugly twice but after that he stopped.He always finds some excuse to mess with me, even if its stupid or not. For example, on Friday he asked me where I was from and on thursday he was joking around with one of his friends and he said that I took his friend's jacket (as a joke). Whenever I see him, hes usually looking at me and smiling and talking to his friends at the same time. Yesterday he was across the street from me and he was staring at me pratically.Does he like me? If he does, then how do I tell him that I like him too, because if he doesn't, I don't want his friends to make fun of me for the rest of the year.

Why do women get so upset when men look at them after they spend so much time looking good. If they are going to wear sexy dress and let everything almost hang out than why do they get so upset when men look? I say if you do not want to be looked at than you should stay at home. I'm not a pervert; but, i love to look at beautiful things and if your going to flunt it I'm going to look. So why do you get so upset when men look? Well ladies, put yourself in this scenario...
If you were in a library, and some stranger comes up to you and compliment about how gorgeous you are (true compliment) and at the end he gives you his mobile number(cell phone for American) and said that"If you are interested please give me a call, if not still give me a call, we can be friend".
