Ok, so here's the situation...I dated this girl, let's call her Susy, a year and a half ago. I had known Susy for a few years before this and we were friends. We went out for not too long (a week or so) and I ended up breaking up with her because I would be in HighSchool while she was still in Junior high. Over the next year and a half we still remained friends and talked often but I still liked her and wasn't sure if she knew it.

Just the other day I confessed to her saying that I still liked her and she responded by saying that she feels bad but I had her before and broke her heart. I'm pretty sure that answer means that she doesn't like me anymore...

What should my next action be?

Well, you could try and tell her why you did it and see if she understands and explain you are older and wiser and feel you still like her. But I could understand why she would be gun shy around you. One week? And you knew she was in Jr high and you still did it? Oh well, she'd be right to leave you where you left her, but if you really really want her back, show her how you've changed and ask her for a second chance. As my brother says, just cause you say you're sorry, doesn't mean what you did is undone. Sorry isn't necessarily a get out of jail card. Try going for the "give me a 2nd chance, I am older and wiser and will do my best to never make you regret taking me back". And then make sure you live up to that! Good luck!

you broke her heart, so that is something that you can just fix. maybe you could try just talking with her getting to know each other, like friends. see how it goes from there. don't ask her out on a date or keep telling her that you like her. just be friends and maybe she will begin to like you all over again, but if she don't then at the very least you are friends.
