Well, here's my story. One of my friends is dating this one girl. But, for some reason, he keeps telling me that she's telling him she wants me. The worst part, I'm too shy to talk to her to get the story validated. Could someone give me some tips? Because, I don't buy the story for one millisecond. How do I get up to her without public embarrasment

My parents do not allow me to date too so heres what you do (ask her out and date her in secret). Its really easy, my bestfriend is in a secret relationship for 1 year now. Be a man and try it.

Sounds like to me that your friend needs to dump her. Why would he want to date a chick that is into his best friend?
Better yet why do you want to know if it is true? Do you like this girl? Is she worth loosing your best friend over?
How do you know that your friend isn't just blowing crap at you to see how loyal of a friend you really are?
If you really must know call her up on the phone and ask her? Or send another friend to do your dirty work and see what she tells them.
But in honesty, if you ever want to have a relationship with a girl then you are gonna have to train your self to not be shy.
I think you just need to walk up to her and say I heard through the grape vine that you like me way more then you like my friend and that you want me. See what her responce is.
The worse she can do is tell you that it is a lie.
But before I did any of this I would think about what your friend means to you and if she is worth loosing his friendship.

Wow....anywhom, he's probably just saying that she said because he wants to know if you'll try and take his girl. And don't be shy! What's the worst that could happen? Maybe him kicking your ***, but that's not SO bad! So, in conclusion, ignore him, he's lying, it's a trap! Good Luck!

you might want to confront her get a close friend or imagine a whole crew of people that are behind you. Tell the girl that straight up you date my boy and i cant date you

hey are u telling me that u want to date ur friends girl ....first of all that does not sound right and how sure are u that she will not like someone else onces u all get together but if u insist on talking to her why don't just let her know tat u want to talk to her and take her aside that should be fair enough and if she does like u like she claims she will step aside with.u..good luck

um dont be a sissy. if she really likes u start hanging out with her. and if ur a mommas boy then uw ont date her. if not go behind there back and act like shes jus a friend and make sure u let the girl know this too

Tell her that your friend told you that and then if its true. If she says it is then tell her that shes a really nice girl but your just not interested. If its false you might want to find a new friend.

you should go up to her as a friend and tell her i heard you have feelings for me and if she says yeah well there is your answer and if she says no just say well that was a close one so you wont be embarrassed and you will look good for your friends since you guys a say always got to look good for your friends

Um.. Don't do anything to screw up the friendship... Cause what kind of girl dates someone when they like their friend? But also don't do anything to embaress her or anything. I wouldn't talk to her... Unless she tells you first.

Try talking to her over the computer sometimes that helps people come out of their shyness
