Other - Family & Relationships - 11 July 2007

I've lived in my mobile home for a little over 2 years. It's in a mobile home park, and my kids have made lots of friends, that they play with pretty much daily. (they're 9 and 11, so I let them outside in the small private park by themselves with their friends). Anyway... when we moved in, we planned on being here five years at the most, then buying a house. I was THRILLED to find out we would be able to get a house now. :) But for some reason, now that moving day is tomorrow, I feel a kind of sadness. I have no idea why. Is this normal? I think I just feel bad for my kids, since where we are moving, they will only have the back yard to play in, and won't have friends around all the time. Am I going Crazy? :( Please help! LOL!!

My 14 year old son is leaving in 2 days to visit his cousin for a week. He was looking foward to going, and she called a week ago to ask if he is coming to visit. He goes every 6 monthes.

His cousin is 28, and the last time he went to visit her, I found out everynight he ran from his bed, to HER bed and slept there. This happened every night.
This is his only cousin, her name is Lauren German and is a actress and played rolls in a few small films, She said she didn't mind they were only having fun.

I do know they have a good bond together and I know they do alot in 1 week. My son has no other siblings.

How Do I prevent this from happening again? Or Should I not care? I know she doesn't mind and I know for sure he will do it again.

i really love my b/f,tell me what love means,whether love is a feeling or a choice...but since we started living together since he visits me for the second time which is much longer than the first time,it seems like a lot of things change.Not about my love for him but in some things. I wonder if how much understanding and patience i would give to him, he is harsh everytime i woke him up,[we are running an internet cafe] for customer transaction he always get mad coz he said one transaction is not worth waking up early,and at the end of the day when our sales is very small he always complain.not only that..i am the one who is doing all the task at home[laundry,cooking except sometimes when he feels to do it,and cleaning the house]i'm also the one going to every places related to the business since i know much of the places here...i'm trying to adjust and understand him more but it seems like it's always like these,i think sometimes that what is use of loving him if i always get hurt.

i went to visit my sister recently.. we have gotten along well until i found out for myself that she still likes to keep my stuff as though we were both still in our teens. we are all grown up now. i happened to leave my cd holder with all my new cds at her house. she never called to say that i left them there. i called & i told her i had left them there & she says nothing was there. i have always been nice to her by giving her things i no longer need. if she sees a bracelet on my wrist & she likes it.. she wants to know where i got it & i end up givng it to her. i just want my cds back .. i know she has them. i am nice but not a fool. i hate to ruin our relationship but maybe i should be more bad instead of good.. she wouldn't do that to her other sisters & then why me??

think the concept of clubbing is totally ridiculous

I am 24, and I have NEVER stepped foot in a club in my life, not once

seriously, wtf is the point of them? there are 3 reasons to go

drink, dance, and sex

i dont drink much and i hate dancing

so thus, the only reason for me to go clubbing would be to get girls

However, I jst dont wanna meet the slutty types who go there

seriously, I would not be caught dead with the losers who attend these places

so to repeat my question, does anybody else frown upon the idea of clubbing?

I dont understand what I am doing wrong. I'm going to college but now it is boring me. I know life is not always fun but I don't know what to do with my life. I like to dabble with different things as long as it catches my attention. I get in relationships and they don't last. Every guy says "It's not me, It's Them", and no one ever tells me if something is wrong. Im not saing to spill your guts but talk to me, that why im in the relationship, is'nt it? I try and get a job and no one will hire me. They say I have no experience, but if no one gives me a chance how will I get experience? I try and not ask my parents for so much because I know that they have other thing that they need to accomplish But always in the end I get hurt. I try and help people to the best of my abilities when I can. I don't like to bother people with my poblems, but in this case I need help.

Can someone please help me I don't know what else to do. I really am lost. Don't control me just help me.

My BIL from Texas just called, and asked about us being able to see each other. (Meaning his family & mine) They intend to go to a water park, & I had already explained to his parents that my hubby, son & I would not be going.
Well, he comes back & says, "The kids were hoping that your son would go."
He has already been there, & we three had agreed to spend the day together doing something fun here in town, JUST the THREE OF US! I CAN go to a regular swimming pool, but NOT a water park. It is DR's orders, due to being 7 1/2 months -8 1/2 months pregnant by the time they get here. I also have herniated discs, and I am already having back problems & may not make it to full term.
So, anyways...these people do not take no for an answer! How many times do I have to tell them about this? I mean a baby for us has only come once in ten years, b/c our boy will be 10 & the new baby is something we have prayed for!
What do I do to make these people understand? I like them but man!

We met only 4 days ago. I was a bar with a friend (trying to get her a date :P). A guy approached me. I could tell he was watching, but I ignored. He walked to me and I tried telling him I didn't want to dance, but he pulled me out on the dancefloor. When we were finished dancing he asked to take me to dinner the next day. He picked me up, he was the perfect gentleman. We talked the next day and he said he wanted to see me before he went to work - couldn't happen so we made plans for today. Again he picked my up, was the perfect gentlman. When we were in the car, he leaned over to kiss me(peck). We made plans for Friday, and he was trying to make plans for Saturday. Things are moving so fast - and I'm so confused - it can't be possible for me to have feelings for a guy within a few days is it? And him for me???

Alright this is going to sound very unrealistic to a lot of you out there, and im pretty sure im going to get scolded for this from quite a few of you, but I can not find a helpful answer from anyone in my life because they are all too biased on one side or the other with this situation.

So my issue is this: I am under 18, and have been off and on with a person who has recently turned 21 since around January. Due to the age issues we have decided to remain seperate in terms of reffering to ourselves as boyfriend and girlfriend. I have never been in love before him, and I believe I could spend my entire life with him, as does he with me. Our parents don't know about us. About two weeks ago he found out that he is only going to live for a maximum of 5 years- I am completely devastated. I want to marry him and spend the rest of my life with him. I don't know if I should tell my parents or not. Marry when im 18 or not? I am so confused and head over heals in love. Help? Advice?
